Wonders never cease 2 days of 5.6!! Doomy is fuming! My fingertips are sighing as I've gone from every 2hrs to 4 a day. The twits are currently trying to play hide and seek with the covers and all is right with the world.
Take care everyone and stay safe. View attachment 41264View attachment 41265
.Anyone else find the man a poor E W Swanton? Enjoy Tuesday responsibly whatever level we are on - anyone know the cheat codes?
10.2 for me today i think it is a problem with the new vial of basal so changed again for this morning hopefully this will solve the rising numbers yesterdays were like a rollercoaster from about 10am not going below 10 all day/night regardless of copious amounts of insulin and rising to about 18,so shall see how today goes higher numbers tend to make me feel terrible and i find them harder to manage than i do with the lows which i find easier to deal with anyway have a good day everyone and hugs to all who need them
Both not up to the job they are most associated with but had talents much admired by The Telegraph. Cardus and Arlott so much better than E W S. The rambling delivery which actually tells one nothing are common traits I homed in on. I agree Swanton had really redeeming features. If the other guy has any he hides them very well in all the roles I have seen him perform. His siblings are adamant that his private persona is not at all like the act we see so Pour qui et Porqoui?well i had to google after that, SO not aware who he was..
and while i bow to your superior knowledge of the man,
so saw no mention he had all the baby mama's ?
Sure he was a man of HIS word, and back in the day i guess that had some value.
however, while sure it was frowned upon then, the right honourable Rasta-Bori
means feckless doesn't seem such a shameful word...which is nice.
Perhaps a revision of Mr Swanton's baby maker status would be advisable ?
thanks jjraak xanother hug karen.
thanks for explaining, it really does inform how this postee
sees and responds to such posts.
i note later posts you seem resigned and expect it to settle.
i hope that is the case.
do feel for you, @johnpol , @alf_Josiah , etc at the vagaries of the numbers game you play.
best wishes for a return to more normal ranges.
You really would think they would be ultra cautious not much less cautious. It is almost beyond belief.Given B'ham had more deaths than any UK city you'd think they'd be more cautious but it seems they are happy in their selfishness.
your dogs look so cosy. My two Labradors are so envious.Wonders never cease 2 days of 5.6!! Doomy is fuming! My fingertips are sighing as I've gone from every 2hrs to 4 a day. The twits are currently trying to play hide and seek with the covers and all is right with the world.

Agree that this is totally bonkers.Mad.. i CAN meet ONE family member, in a park at 6 ft distance
OR a few hundred strangers on the way to work by tube, at a foot distance ( IF lucky)....
Solid plan, Blackadder.....solid plan..
A brilliant sketch for 20 minutes @Muddy CyclistSo amidst the confusion of the day I set out on my bike to find that one person I could meet in the vast 25 sq miles of Cannock Chase and saw no one, clearly the plan is not working.
But I did get inspired to paint my next series. I passed a Beech tree infront of an Hawthorn Hedge in all its pungent white shinning glory against a dark threatening sky with long views over Sherbrooke Valley. So here is another watercolour sketch trying to show the reflections of sunlight on the blue grey bark and the white flowers of the Hawthorn, missed the view but that will be in the finished work, need to work on those shadows and reflections..... so A5 size about 20 minutes....

Also need to include some fiddle head ferns.....
Lovely painting. There is a Hawthorne hedge in full bloom in the fen we walked around yesterday that looks just like the Hawthorn hedge in your painting. We didn't know it was Hawthorn until we saw your painting. So amidst the confusion of the day I set out on my bike to find that one person I could meet in the vast 25 sq miles of Cannock Chase and saw no one, clearly the plan is not working.
