Crikey! First attempt that's just brilliant, I bet you had lessons in your long life from Leonardo himself, talent indeed we had better all brush up our skills. Shame about the Panda. There I was being bored for a change and I thought "maybe I should have a crack at this art stuff".
So I downloaded Zen Brush 2 and here's me first go at a couple of sticks

Edit - there was a panda but he got fed up and walked off
Thank you, I have done two painting this afternoon, will post them but not sure I like them.good afternoon all
4.8 today
It's a soggy day here today but at least it's not cold, spent the morning topping and tailing gooseberries, listening to an audio book and watching the visitors from the caravan site wandering about in their waterproofs in the rain. It's a shame as you said @lindisfel when we had so many good days of weather during the strict lockdown.
Hope your day is treating you kindly
@ianpspurs - hugs for the 'homesickness' it can bite you when you least expect it
@dunelm - I like the touch of green it adds a new dimension
@gennepher - your picture works well and I like the bird, sorry for your struggle, it can be difficult to get back into something when your flow has been interrupted
@Muddy Cyclist - I love your pencil lanscape, such a grand vista, what type of pencils do you use? Interested to see what your sketches work up like
art bit - tried doing a sketch in mum's garden yesterday with some 'watercolour' pencils I found I had, don't know how long they had been sitting in the cupboard, a couple of years at least. they will not live in the cupboard any longer, they will go! the pigment was so hard I scratched the paper surface trying to get some colour onto the paper
today's offering -
watercolour approx A5

You have mine too. Lost 5lbs have 3 to go and they won't budge, I want to be 11stone 10lbs or less. Problem is I felt fed up today so eat 2 pieces of chocolate (90% cocola) and 2 gin and tonics which isn't helping. That's great - I am so pleased to have company 'on the wagon'.
Love it. Quite like Breckland so no emotional attachment just pleasure of fantastic art.So here are the two A5 paintings based on the sketches, not sure about them although they looked OK in the gold frames I had spare, may do something different for these frames, I will live with them a bit see if they grow on me.

Hug. I don't think I've ever felt so fed up that I could do that to myself - you must be made of graniteProblem is I felt fed up today so eat 2 pieces of chocolate (90% cocola) and 2 gin and tonics which isn't helping.
Thank you. I need to regain my self control and determination, MILs bungalow sort out isn't helping, resolve now firmly in place, honest.Love it. Quite like Breckland so no emotional attachment just pleasure of fantastic art.
Hug. I don't think I've ever felt so fed up that I could do that to myself - you must be made of granite. A little weight loss will be a cinch after that ordeal.
You'll do it. Just take it steady. It has taken me five years to get to where I am now and more importantly maintain. There will be ups and downs before your body finds its "new normal." This is an interesting tool - quite a wide range of weights - why 11S 10 / 74.4 kgs if you don't mind me asking?Thank you. I need to regain my self control and determination, MILs bungalow sort out isn't helping, resolve now firmly in place, honest.
Thank you @HarryBeauI really like it gennepher it has a great 'raw' quality to it

No scientific reason. Before lockdown I hovered around 71 kgs, never a steady weight 3kg differences day to day. I like to be below 76 kgs seems that's when I feel my body is at it's correct weight but not 71kgs when I feel skinny. So as I said no sensible reason just gut feeling.why 11S 10 / 74.4 kgs if you don't mind me asking
I use Fabre Castell Polychrome I like the way they blend. I carry them and keep them in a pencil roll as I find that way I don't drop them so often and can easily carry them in my man bags.what type of pencils do you use?
5lbs is excellent - but it is frustrating when you get stuck. 2 gin and tonics and two pieces of 90% was really quite restrained. You have mine too. After a few months being rather lazy,
My fitness tracker finally gets put through its paces.
Not a bad start back, and it felt good, that it felt GOOD.
