What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

No art, well actually I have started the horizon on yesterday's watercolour but not enough to warrant posting it. Long day sorting MILs bungalow, all sorts of unforeseen problems.

4.3 yesterday and 4.4 this morning

missed posting yesterday we had to go over to mum's to pick up Katy, she did not appreciate the advent of another dog into her space (meiosis ).
So we had to scramble round moving things from dog level and setting up her sleeping quarters
I'll catch up on the thread and post art later

Good morning everyone from another day of promise in the dark and dangerous north
No reading today. The wonder wheel ran out of steam and just right now I can’t be bothered.
Supposed to be going out on my bike again today but just not up for it.
A quick sketch - just to see if I can get myself motivated.

I ate a bit of an apple last night. That raised it a bit. I am better eating a bit of apple earlier in the day with other food.

A horrid dull grey sky this morning so far. Not motivational at all. Got a text from a friend to say her husband has gone totally downhill during lockdown and does nothing (he wasn't shielding, and they live right besides Sefton Park in L'Pool, so no excuse for not walking daily), and because he has sat there not moving he has no strength in his legs and arms. He has given up on life.

So my painting for today. I am having problems with my hands because I was tearing up cardboard boxes for recycle this morning and they are painfully stiff now. (I am not safe with a Stanley knife to cut up boxes ) I draw on the iPad with my fingers, but I don't have enough control this morning, so I thought lotus leaves might be okay. This is my best effort for today.

I am using two Chinese metal balls for right hand exercises at the minute.

I did one with a creamy background, and one with a white background. I liked the warmth of the creamy one.

Morening fellow posters and painters.

Many thanks for all the wedding anniversary best wishes. We celebrated with a nice dinner, yep liver and bacon, flash mash and rich gravy.
Hence a manageable 6.4 today.

I must sign out as we are orf out shortly. Have a great day all.

Shame about the weather, I think we are all a bit brighter when the sun shines. Cloudy here today also. Maybe it's time to start making soup?
