Thank you.things hung on walls in my opinion depends on how you hang them, some can, some can't.Looking good MC, looking good. I abhor things hung on walls but some of the artwork on here could eventually change my mind
Panic maybe?Yes, definitely Murphy's law = or perhaps I should call it s***s law. New lock installed, more keys cut and you can guess what happened next. I was in the kitchen and looked into the conservatory and there it was!!! Hiding in plain sight. We couldn't believe we hadn't seen it. How on earth had we missed it.
At their best then, make the most of it whilst it lasts. As we went into the National Park this am there was a request on the boundary that visitors should stay away!
We passed hotels that were closed and shuttered. On the west side of Derwentwater there were no cars to pass going other way just cyclists.
A few cars had parked up below Cat Bells and owners were out walking for the day.
The hotel where we took the family for a celebration for a long week end after our 50th... Borrowdale Gates was empty.
The Lakes looks different, nothing commercial is working.
Keswick was quiet as we came through on the east side of the Lake, and the road to the North of Bassingthwaite Lake under Skiddaw had virtually no traffic.
We had a short walk near where Hugh Walpole lived and got a few pics and then home for lunch.
Yes, you are right - there was rather a lot of panic going on. It is a huge worry when you think you have lost your front door keys.Panic maybe?
Some fine Larch though.I took some pics today, but a lot of trees have already lost their leaves in the high winds.

Distracted or not you turn up trumps. Not finishing the background enhances this in my opinion. A fine creative picture.I'm a bit/lot distracted at the moment but here's my art. You can tell I'm distracted because I didn't bother to finish the background

Having trouble posting pictures!
Oh now that is quite wonderful and so delicately done, telling the story of a tree of some age without having to add any garnish. Smashing. My daily painting challenge to myself.
Like I said earlier I watched the early morning misty sun through the old oak tree...
So I painted a version of that in Procreate.
Here is is...

'Fabulous - a good reminder to us of great days out and even a hotel that we have stayed in.View attachment 45361 View attachment 45360Having trouble posting pictures!
Hahah Go back to Moana!
I was never a huge fan of WoO... maybe I watched it too young and thought the witches too scary.
Then again I get nightmares is Lassie gets a thorn in its paw!
I badgered my parents for Jeff Wayne's version of War of the Worlds because my primary school bestie had it. I listened to it on Xmas Day and it gave me nightmares for WEEKS! I never listened to it again. Ma and Pa bear were not impressed! In fact when my father passed away and I was going through all his vinyl LPs... there it was in his collection!
Your Ocelot's an incredible picture, AA, I am impressed.I'm a bit/lot distracted at the moment but here's my art. You can tell I'm distracted because I didn't bother to finish the background

How did you know that was exactly my reaction to finding the key.Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Oh god yes - my old man was a HUGE fan of his books. When he passed away they all went to a book shop! I kept his bound Agatha Christie collection and his **** Francis books!I read a Denis Wheatley book when I was a lad that scared me stiff! It just took one book to break the 'habit'!
