What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

The weather may be wet, dreary and cold here in The Brecks (just) but I bid you all the warmest of welcomes to Tuesday. New Swipey MK 2's first outing was a 5.5 but I'm hoping that was the usual settling in shenanigans. The 7 - 90 day trends will be a more useful guide. @geefull I loved that art and hope the car is easily (cheaply?) fixed. @Krystyna23040 I listened to Carly Simon lots at Uni but only the first 3 albums. Julie through the glass was the one for me long before I met Mrs JKP. Hopefully those are the sentiments our boys have to our grandchildren (lyrics.) Play nicely and share your toys crew.

No garden is complete or safe without Dragons. Your are lucky those Dragons allowed you to paint them when they have an egg to guard. Nice piece or art and some very useful dragon information.

Our garden dragon is named Griff.

Morening, sorry no time this pre koffy time, a 9:00 am telephonic consultation with the Liver specialist and lots of preparation to be carried out first.

2 blood sugar readings this morning 1st 4.3, 2nd immediately after on a different finger 5.7 strange old world, my body tells me accept the 2nd reading.
Must go, remember all the stay's etc.

Sending you all the best Alf...

Best wishes for the conversation and hopefully you'll have a glowing report with which to regale everyone.

Magical. I have never been far enough East to see these type of mountain peaks but you capture the feeling of the majesty so well. Great wash of colour also.
Thank you @Muddy Cyclist - this is on some of that paper that I bought from China - not as good as I thought it would be - doesn’t take kindly to moisture so forever wiping brushes - never mind, I can use to experiment on.

Great start - as you said, magnificent sky

Me thoughts be with you. Hope all works out fine.

Thank you.
Although I think I have not left enough white paper for the reflections in the sea, may have to change it into a landscape, we shall see.

Some news from home - MrsBRS little Fiat was nicked from the car park where it was left as she was working with stroke survivors. She's breathing fire as you'd expect. At home we have a garage where both steeds are locked up but you have to wonder why anyone would target a car, at a centre with an NHS pass on the windscreen...

Not yet found...Sigh.

Hugs for you @alf_Josiah
May you have an amazing day

Blinking heck @BRSBRI
No words for this...
Hugs for MrsBRS

hug for readings alf, goodluck for phone consultation x

Morening again all.

Many thanks for all best wishes.

Liver blood tests all fine, no concerns all all, a routine liver ultrasound scan planned, this is routine, it appears that with blood tests they do not need to perform a liver biopsy which involves 6 hours flat on your back and a large supply of urine bottles . More blood tests, again nothing out of the ordinary.
Later on today I shall try and catch up on the posts, and hug about the stolen Fiat.
Take care all.

Thank you @geefull and hope that the steering problem on the car is a quick fix.
Interesting art from you today. I like the treatment of the water, gentle ripples and the pebbled beach. Not much paint involved and very effective

Excellent back story to your painting of Welsh dragons. Another superb piece of art that should always stay with the story.

Nice memory - Carly Simon’s voice goes so well with piano
