We flew into Orlando airport proper in the 90s. We were crossing from the West coast to East coast and going to the Merrit Island reserve near Cape Canaveral.
I see its still a crime ridden small town.
When I was in Milpitas I was on a Varian Linac course.
They were a very mixed group some Americans were very nice people, I didnt like the way a certain ethnic group on the course were making a real job of cleaning their tubes out in class and using the waste basket as a spitoon!

Not heard that one before. My old mum used to say, "Don't cast a clout until May is out" after yesterday I think she is right.Easter egg hunt sounds good @Muddy Cyclist but fbg seems to be troubling you. Don't sweat the small stuff, it will come good. This being a standard modern house with postage stamp garden no Easter egg hunt here as it is a waste of time. Great fun in the old country. Anyone else have the Easter tradition of new clothes or the birds would poo on ya? No, just my granddad's sense of humour then but just in case I do observe that.
Thats what I thought - lots of them about as well as Dunlins but not Norwegian Blues - beautiful plumage.Look like Sanderling, Dunelm, in winter plumage.

What a fabulous day

Treasure hunt was in sons garden, large so I drew a map and hid 24 eggs at different heights corresponding to heightifthe three girls...
Here we be outside sons cottage and in his huge garden, note the Coalbrookdale Windows, cold in winter.

Most agreeable thank you.For those interested. A week back I mentioned the Quire was recording a Glee which we had never sung before so a bit of an experiment as all had to learn, sing and record remotely withthe hopeit would work out. Glee clubs were very popular in Georgian and early Victorian times...
Pleased with the result all things considered, Me Bass and Mrs MC Soprano.

So sorry, such sadness. The most terrible news from Taiwan. Wan, aka Hamish emailed me and let me know, very sadly, his closest friend and best man at his wedding has succumbed to injuries sustained in the dreadful train crash there last week. He only found out he was on the express late yesterday.
I've passed on deepest condolences and he says hello to everyone here.
Life is so very fragile...
I'd say on myself: rebellious, outspoken, cantankerous, ropey sense of humour, smells like a stewed cabbage but is fiercely creative and a natural leader nevertheless. Lied all the way through his PhD at MIT and bribed the viva panel using potato scones and square sliced sausages.I am late to the party today ... I hope yous have all had a lovely Easter Sunday.
Many thanks for all the good wishes for next week's interview - I will keep you all posted - I have been swatting up but to be honest you never know what they will throw in - at last one he asked if I phone your old boss what 3 words would he use to describe you? - I replied friendly, outgoing & reliable - not sure if I scored points or not and don't know what would have been a better reply?
Lovely photos all - I can't wait until I can get back near a beach or even out and about - not just local - again ...
Yes. He was 38 and leaves a wife and 2 young children on this mortal coil.So sorry, such sadness.
Yes every one has a different answer - one of my son's had said I should have said "a great communicator" ... so don't know ... and I think at the end of the day if someone takes a liking to you early on your answers don't matter too much - I remember years ago I went for an interview at Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh - I asked at interview if they would give me travelling expenses as I lived outside the city and would have had to get the train there (in those days some companies gave expenses, my friend worked at TSB and got them) they said no, so I wasn't interested in the job (I already had a local job at the time) so I know I made mistakes in the typing test and still got offered the job which I didn't accept - again, what's meant for you ...I'd say on myself: rebellious, outspoken, cantankerous, ropey sense of humour, smells like a stewed cabbage but is fiercely creative and a natural leader nevertheless. Lied all the way through his PhD at MIT and bribed the viva panel using potato scones and square sliced sausages.
It's a hard one isn't it? The curved ball questions and answers I find are the ones that stay with both sides long after the interview is consigned to history.
I'd think about the job and what qualities you've proven time and time again in the past that are highly relevant - reel them off.
Not sure that's of any help...but it's what I did for an interview at Google. Got offered and turned them down...
Aww just read this - that's awful - yes just sweat the big stuff in life the small things don't matter - so sadYes. He was 38 and leaves a wife and 2 young children on this mortal coil.
