In bed now. Dry clothes on. Electric blanket on. Towel round hair. Cuppa hot tea.
There were definitely more than 200 bulbs...
It rained and hailed all day, and now I am back in bed, the sun has come out and the sky has brightened...
Good night all. And I tentatively checked my safe parcel place. I hesitantly lifted the lid. Phew...no more bulb parcels...
I am going on internet blackout until tomorrow morning, and that also includes chat apps and emails...
It is not an age thing @Granny_grump_I can do things first time then I can’t repeat what I did. It’s an age thing my grand children usually help me out. Did you understand what I was saying about the adult advanced painting by numbers. They come in a boxed set with everything you need to paint the painting yourself. You can find them on the internet from lots of places Amazon is one place.K
Thank you @Krystyna23040The calm before the storm. Hope you stay safe tomorrow @gennepher
Thank you since I stayed at home for 22 months over Covid no communication with people it caused anxiety problems my brain is in a fog, sometimes I think I will never get out of it. It affects my short term memory once I do a new thing I panic and can’t then remember what I’ve only just done, but I will not give up I will do it your absolutely right repeatedly doing a task makes it stick but I’m not repeating uploading enough in any one day to make it stick. How can I get round this ????? KIt is not an age thing @Granny_grump_
Don't say that.
It is simply a learning experience.
You have to repeat it to learn and remember.
You can do this.
I made so many mistakes when I first tried a few years ago on this site to upload photos.
I still make piles of mistakes.
Mistakes and trying are the learning process.
Always believe you can.
You are doing well x
Interesting sky dunhelm a picture to make you thinkGood morning everyone on a wet and windy start here in the dark and dangerous north.
According to my Dark Sky app, wind is gusting at a mere 41 mph but the indication is a peak of 61 mph this afternoon. Monday looks to be the watch out day here but that is just heresay. I hope that everyone will weather the storm with little incidence. Four new radiators are now in place, replacements for the ones fitted by those crazy hippies in the 60’s. By ‘eck it’s warm. Best turn them off and continue with string vests and a ganzy.
Art bit. Another interesting sky (ish) and a stout tree that hopefully will not blow over. Hope your day is a good one. Time enough for koffy.
