Thanks @ianpspursHello to all from a blustery, rather than Eunice force, morning in Forest Heath cum West Suffolk cum Idaho and/or any other State of The Union. @Jojo85 enjoy the fine weather today and as the Sunday School hymn (Glad that I live am I) says after the sun comes rain. The birthday girl surely had a great day and the presence of her Aunt would have undoubtedly enhanced the whole day. Being 7 again eh? Joni. has a song about that. (The B and W is wholly appropriate for we oldies. Wonderful tale from a boy I taught who seriously thought everything was B and W when Miss was a girl) @gennepher simply splendid Castle, cliffs, memories of your father (my dad was an RAF wireless operator during his National Service), love and care for the friend and those snowdrops. @dunelm well done on the libations and outbound walk yesterday. Thank you for sharing your art once again and for almost all that post. You were in a rich vein of form until the final two words. Fatigue can do that to a fella. Sunday lunch with 92 yo MIL today - pork belly but this isn’t just food it is * and * food. So, unexpectedly the Cityzens were Kaned before my very eyes last evening. Oh, Oh Antonio.
Thank you will get him to explain what’s happening and how I can avoid any further complications.. KYou definitely need to get back of eye issues sorted - so it is good that you are seeing the doctor next week.
Will definitely do that dunelm. KHooray, a bit of great news - enjoy the moments
Your not on your own in wishing we where children again it’s partying and presents on every occasion, we never had this I’m a born after Second World War baby, in the Lanky accent we never had nowt. Translation we didn’t get anything.KHi everyone,
Saturday fbg at 5am was 5.2, Sunday fbg at 8.30am was 4.9
I had my nieces 7th birthday yesterday, we took her to the movies and cut her a cake. She wanted a tie dye themed birthday. Oh how I wish I was a kid again lol
@ianpspurs today is a beautiful day, but it might be raining from tomorrow on
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend!
Have a good day out today @jjraakHi all
Yesterday 7.4 FBG.
I took 6 pistachios last night at bedtime
This AM Bang on 7 FBG...
A dreadful nights sleep
Too much going on in my head
So I'd call pistachio 1.0 inconclusive.
Be trying 1.1 tonight.
Other then that, a bit of a lazy Sunday .
Friend texted to say him & missus got covid ..tested this morning LFT .nose only.type
She works teaching groups of gas fitters, so classroom maybe ?
He seems worse then her, but more the worst cold then anything sinister
I felt drained of energy later on
Was up at noon back in bed by 5 and asleep until 8.
Probably the backwash of last night's lack, I think
Wishing you all a happy Monday
Local hospital tomorrow, physio
Nephew accompanying, then plan is to meet his brother for a beer & a spot of lunch.
Hoping for dry weather so we can sit outside
Late afternoon
Weathers looks dry
And wind drops considerably.
Night all
Thank you @gennepher

Smashing Corfe Castle. I remember it from trips to Dorset.Fbg 6.5
Storm Franklin is having a wild party outside...
I am sure this is far windier that Storm Dudley or Storm Eunice.
Creative today. Doing English castles for my American pen friend now.
So, doing another castle today. Corfe Castle. In iPastels.
She is amazed I have been in so many castles. When I was a child or teenager I loved climbing castle walls. A lot of castles then were quite derelict, covered in ivy, and absolutely no safety rails. The ivy has been taken off now, and safety rails put in every possible nook and crevice and high wall...not much fun now.
But my eldest daughter, once when she came to visit me, was disappointed a ruined castle near here was locked up. I came to see inside it, she insisted. Right, hold my bag, she said. And promptly scaled one of the walls, and climbed back down inside.
And I am having kittens watching her!
However that is a moot point for me, as just one step is now the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest for me. But I can have my memories. (I am definitely getting to be this old biddy now aren't I?)
I give you Corfe Castle...

Have a good breakfast @dunelmGood morning everyone on another overcast and blustery start here in the dark and dangerous north
The girl in the bubble, always lots of fun - except when she turns into little miss grumpy or little miss meltdown for no reason. Not a day for walking yesterday - being pushed or dragged town the road, yes. But not walking. So car. Cafe for late breakfast. Do we call it brunch? I do like late breakfast - far more smug and self righteous if you are a low carb fussy eater and can drone on for hours about 16 to 8, 5:2 and intermittent fasting. Girl in the bubble likes to have the sourdough toast from my full English - no beans please - they don’t do hash browns - it’s a proper full English, let down only by an insipid half tomato instead of proper tinned tomatoes that we have known and loved since at least the 1960’s in my case - ‘we take Luncheon Vouchers’. Those were the days, none of your fancy L'Escargot on Greek Street thank you very much.
Art bit - a quick splurge using one brush and no plan - very Zen. Done in a frisson. Hope today is kind you you all. I shall insist on koffy - but only after tea. Tea is for breaking the fast - and in a large mug please.

I think that you need a lot more data on your pistachios experiment. Perhaps at least 6 months data before you can report your results - maybe even a year!Hi all
