Thanks @ianpspursGood morning on what is a very sunny, spring like - in Forest Heath - third Sunday in Lent. Pork is on the menu today so I’m caught between feeling very grateful and these things are sent to try us, At least it's shoulder and there is crackling. Elsie must have studied Heraclitus (“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.”) because before me and Elsie were an item I was a huge Sunday roast fan. Free range eggs anyone? Imagine we in the UK being misled since November. So, as far back as 1938 people had worked out what Social Media would produce they just didn’t call it Social Media: “It is like being led through [a] strange country by a guide who may turn out to be a gangster. Hence most opinion, except the most fanatical, is tinged with uncertainty … ” Madge and Harison 1938. Eerily similar to how “good science” is often co-opted to the service of certain ideas on a few threads or a rotten PM. Hugs for the parcel problems yesterday @gennepher but winner for another wonderful kaleidoscope. @dunelm thank you for sharing your art yet again. @Krystyna23040 enjoy Oxburgh Hall - just don't forget the sausage roll after #MahJonggate instead of rugby. Have you never heard of Ms Wynette @SlimLizzy frustrating but I'm sure Mr Slim will solve the problem. Stay safe and share the lurve.
Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, a slightly more relaxed start to this Sunday morning.
Bloods sugars this morning were 4.8, no going for an early morning ride on my motorcycle, gardening looks to be the order of the day. Bloods at this level mean for me, me’s and myself a complex calculation, involving tea bag reading, wind direction, sliderule manipulation and a good old guesstimate. Ah the joys of insulin.
Just for our @gennepher I have or hope to attach a picture of 1 of a series of 3 planters I am making for a motorcycle friend, it is work in progress. Other plans involve repositioning a bay tree bush, luckily Mrs J mowed the back grass, lawn would be wrong and lastly cleaning the lower patio, which didn’t get done yesterday.
Stay safe all. .
Drat etc photo file size is too large, I will try and sort it later..
On some iPads @alf_Josiah you can reduce the file size from the iPad as you are trying to post on this thread.
I am assuming you are doing this post from your iPad.
So...
Here is screenshots of this process.
The bottom left pic, I can't remember where it came in this process, but it might have been the second one. And so 2 might be number 3 and so on.
Anyway...
So, initially my file size for Snowdon was 2.7 Mb
I press the bottom bit 'Show selected (1) Actual Size (2.7 MB).' But I might have to jab at it a few times if iPad has fallen out with me.
I press 189 KB (or whichever you want under 1MB) and then Done (which you can't see cos of the white bit over it).
That takes you to number 3 which tells me the file size is now medium.
I press Done.
That takes me to Number 4
I press Add
And then hey presto the reduced file uploads to this thread...
This might confusificate your morning further.
In that case, make a coffee and forget this...

Very useful if I can remember any of it when I need to use it, dunelm sent me a file reduction thing a few weeks ago but I’ve not needed to use it so again unsure if I could use it again. If I repeatedly use things on my iPad no problem but rarely used things not a cat in hells chance of remembering it, all my appointments birthdays etc are on my phone it sends me an alert or missed appointment would be plentiful. On some iPads @alf_Josiah you can reduce the file size from the iPad as you are trying to post on this thread.

Today's offering is chicken soup, with potatoes and spaghetti again... I am Making a giant cottage pie, at least I can separate out the mash and serve with vegetables.
Take a screenshot of any helpful information you see on here @Granny_grump_Very useful if I can remember any of it when I need to use it, dunelm sent me a file reduction thing a few weeks ago but I’ve not needed to use it so again unsure if I could use it again. Great grandson was fine until we got us all a drink in cafe and he wanted to run around not sit on a chair then tantrums lying down on floor paddying, but grandad saved the day with a fruit shoot drink and a chocolate marshmallow you can guess where that ended up. After cafe we went to do a bit of supermarket shopping plus chocolate buttons and wet wipesthen walked back home were he had all his toys to play with, what a few hours of mixed emotions memories came flooding back of his dad who i had all the same problems with many moons ago. It’s that awkward stage in a toddlers life the dreaded 2s and 3s but it hasn’t put us off at all we will do this again it helps our grandson and his wife get a break from home child work etc. And have some time and space away from it all if for only a few hours, so much pressure on parents today from all directions, grandson is an educational computer animator doing educational childrens books and films for schools all over the world, his wife is a qualified teacher but buckled under the strain after losing their first baby and is now a teaching assistant only recently gone back into the workplace. So this time together is vitally important for them both to just be a couple together even for a short time, we are glad to help and we get to see more of our great grandson and he won’t always be little. K
Does seem to be carbs all the way, pancakes with jam for breakfast...Ah....
I remember a French/Belgian family @SlimLizzy I sometimes dined with many years ago. There was always at least one humongous bowl of pasta on the table, and I think it had butter on. But the bulk of your meal was pasta or carbs of some sort. And all I wanted to do was curl up and go to sleep immediately after eating that much pasta.
This was before diabetes, but it's possible I could have had it then.
@ianpspurs there were so many trees down and paths blocked in the woods at Oxburgh. It was sad to see but we still enjoyed our walk. The dogs shared a doggie ice cream at the cafe and of course Mr K had his sausage roll.enjoy Oxburgh Hall - just don't forget the sausage roll after #MahJonggate instead of rugby. Sorry I've been absent on here. We just got back yesterday from sunny Queensland. We left on Monday the 14th for 6 nights. Had an incredible time, with great weather. No rain in sight! Such a lovely break. Did quite a bit of shopping too lol now back home and back to routine. I put on a kilo so need to tighten up my diet. I kept low carb while on holiday but I did go over my calories. Oh well, it doesn't count when on break lol
Hope everyone has been well! Have a great day!
Glad you had a great holiday @Jojo85Good morning friends!
