What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Sounds a very nasty experience Genn....hugs.

Let's pray today is a much better day.

Do take it slow, Genn...
Easy to see the smallest of stumbles while disoriented ending badly

Best wishes for a speedy recovery

A difficult road for your sister, @dunelm
Also a hard one for you, a time when we can only stand & watch those we love struggle .

Does sound very positive in the reduction & that one disappeared. But the step back of on re-appearing will be a knock, sadly.

Best wishes for her chemo.
Sister had sessions many years ago, knocked her for six after.

Hope advances means it's more balanced & less upsetting to the body.

Glad the operation was a success @lindisfel
All the best for the laser surgery in 3 months.

Hugs for and to your sister @dunelm
I hope she gets the best possible outcome.

Art bit...more stairs! Keep them coming!!!

Enjoy that coffee!

Hello from what is certainly a season of mists and mellow fruitfulness here in Sufflok. Our two patio apple trees, which are actually in pots around "the lawn", are ripe and ready. @gennepher hug for the disorientation yesterday and thanks for the wonderful sunflower. We didn't grow one this year. Do take it easy today as @jjraak suggested. @dunelm more mixed news about your sister hence the hug but thanks for the new art. @Annb I hope your jab goes smoothly and doesn't produce worrying after effects. If the COVID jab is the bivalent one alongside the flu jab that is a large visitor to one's system. @lindisfel good news that the latest operation promises to do the original job and sensible to limit the distance you drive. Take care everyone and plan before making major changes. What's the acronym PPPPPP? Not sure one can do anything about oncoming tractors uncontrolled by drug fueled youths though.

Thank you @ianpspurs

Thank you @Annb . All the best with your jab(s) today.

What a horrendous reaction to the jab(s). Maybe your mind needed some down time though and with any luck you'll be refreshed even though the experience was horrible.

The nurse doing my double jab this morning warned that I might feel as though I have flu for a day or so, but what you had wasn't like any flu I've heard of.

Well that wasn’t good - time only moves on quickly when you are enjoying yourself but good to read that you are probably on the mend. Smashing sunflower.

Thanks @jjraak - this treatment does knock one for six.

Thanks @ianpspurs - on the double jab front I wonder if it’s the Moderna one causing issues - the person who jabbed me did warn me about missing a day out of my life.

I wouldn't call that down time... @Annb
my brain is still trying to connect up its pathways today...

My reaction was not like flu. I have never had a reaction like that to anything.

I hope you have a good day, and no reactions at all.

I had the Moderna...
