Good BGL and welcome to this corner of the site. We did a Nordic walking course a few years ago - Southampton I think and we have a nice long beach to play with the poles. Protein roll. Do you buy or make it?
Hi Alf. Thankyou. Been round and about a few weeks now. My wife once said, as she was looking in the mirror, " I look absolutely awful this morning. Can you just say something to cheer me up?".................."Well your eyesight is in good condition!" was not the correct answer.Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.
@Mallyman if it is your first time posting in this somewhat quiet corner of this informative site a big welcome.
Blood sugars this morning were 6.6 if they were 6.66 then that would or would not be in keeping with a few of the postings on this thread.
Today here in Tilehurst Towers the situation is as ab normal, plans made, targets set, then reality happens, Mrs J dictates, she moveth in a mystery feminine way and me, me’s and myself are given clear instructions.
I know my place.
Stay safe all and remember the phrase “Yes dear” can be misinterpreted as a declaration of marital war…….in Tilehurst Towers at least.
Do you know Ness gardens on the Wirral, Lamont?I'm reluctant to take myself into the garden this pm.
Shopping took my mojo away and apart from being lazy as Mrs L has a quiet nap, Lancs are playing on YouTube.
And doing quite well!
So chilling watching the box in the corner!
Weather is quite windy and cooler than forecast.
Fish for my main meal today.
Have a pleasant valley Tuesday evening.
It's probably a phallusy, but the giant was emasculated, in I think the prudish Victorian Era, hence the saying, "He is a man, but not a man!"Good morning everyone from quite a breezy start here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.1 this am. This morning is a time of mystery and perhaps imagination. We might though venture down to the cafe and then perhaps catch the bus back. I have it that we are visiting a venue at some point in the afternoon as a location for a reunion next year. Caught a programme last night hosted by Alice Roberts - they were, amongst other things, trying to date the Cerne Abbas Giant - not as old as folk think. 900AD-1400AD is the latest estimate using some fancy lab stuff. Art bit - some detail added. Hope your day has at least one laugh and several smiles. Koffy time.

Sorry, in my haste I failed to point out that the baking powder equates to about 15g.Here is the bread recipe.
PROTEIN BREAD
100g flaxseed (crushed)
100g ground almonds
Each 50g of.....
Hemp seeds
Chia seeds
Sesame seeds
Pumpkin seeds (chopped)
Amarinth
Sunflower seeds
Spelt bran
Oatmeal
6 eggs
500g low-fat Curd Cheese
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 bag of Backing powder
Mix everything at once
Pour into baking pan
Bake at 170°C 0for a 60 - 70 minute - top and bottom heat.
For the Rolls I just add a tablespoon of Psylium and some puffed Quinoa. I then bake them at 200°C for about 35 minutes.
Smashing, thanksHere is the bread recipe.

Oh no! I hope you can find the missing chapters. I copy stuff to Dropbox.Just been trying to finish this stage of my children's book and suddenly my Laptop crashed and I lost most of what I had already done. So I've spent most of the evening puttiong it all back together again - apart from 2 chapters which I haven't managed to find, but they must be there somewhere. There's no deadline so it's just an annoyance. These things are sent to try us - apparently. I'm giving up for tonight.
It has to be somewhere. I daresay I'll find it tomorrow. Why am I not panicking? No idea, but I may as well enjoy the calm until it hits me (probably when I start to look for it all tomorrow). Actually, can't understand it - the 2 chapters have disappeared from 2 separate places in the book. It all seems to have separated out. I did write each chapter as a different file and then put them together. Beginning to think that wasn't a good idea.Oh no! I hope you can find the missing chapters. I copy stuff to Dropbox.
Helen is going there after retiring in September on a course on gardening for ten sessions at one per week.I know of them, the bus from town goes there but if I have been there it was not memorable!
I have been to Neston a few times. Which is not too far away!
I live in the middle of the northern part of the peninsula not too far from PP.
I back up writing I do as an interim measure, stage by stage in an email to myself and most certainly before I come out of the writing app and shut the tablet down @Annb , then later in the day when I have time I back it up somewhere else. I do different chapters as different files as well as you. And then also put it together later. It has to be somewhere. I daresay I'll find it tomorrow. Why am I not panicking?
