What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Taught my children Left and Right by writing capital L & R inside their shoes. Letters on the inside. Place letters together and shoes are always on the correct feet. Win win.
Abigail had this problem with shoes and Wellingtons until I showed her if you put them together, there was a big Vee in the middle of them if they were the wrong way round and a small Vee if you got them the correct way.
She never forgot it.

Now I must stand in the indoor rain cabinet then get a move on.

Stay safe all.

If you don't mind, I will plagiarize that quote!
I have been informed, I'm weird by doctors and my peers!
good photo by the way (is it?)

I'm hoping my lot get a result today, for a change!

Regardless of weather, the lakes are a beautiful area. You can still your in the rain!
Once long ago we had a great week in Applethwaite, but it never stopped from scotch mist to torrential!
I know the Eskimos have hundreds of words for snow! Us northerners should have millions of words, sayings and essays about how we get our water from the heavens!

Visited Portman road many moon's ago, it was anything but dry, especially the IPA in a local drinking establishment!

6.6 mmols!
Youngest granddaughter has joined gymnastics club and enjoyed it thoroughly. A certificate was gained for her ability and agility. I have also rewarded her with her favourite confectionery!

Weather cooler and cloudier! A draught around the legs, and washing on line!
Chores and shopping completed, Saturday afternoon footie to focus on after food prep!
Salad on standby, if the cooking is later this evening!

Gotta go cuppa to make.

Have a satisfactory Saturday, all my best wishes as always!

Yup a photo of an ornament J gave me many years ago...one of the few that darn badger has not broken....I isolated it from the messy surroundings and put it on a black background @Lamont D

No it was just after the war, a boys school and most of the teachers were exmilitary. Some were in the first war, one showed us his MC. He rounded up a German machine gun nest alone.
One had shell shock still from first war and often had to go out in the corridor and walk up and down, poor devil. He caned me once and broke his cane, probably for chewing sweets which was seen as an infraction of schools rules.

I saw what happened at the Boston borstal, the lads were really tough and they made them reclaim some of the Wash marshes as farmland with shovels.
The Witham mouth was where we went birding after riding there on our bikes over forty miles, mainly across the Fen.

Just decided that today would be the day to strip my bed - there's no other washing left to be done, so it seems like a good time. Managed to strip it and get a bottom sheet on, but there I stalled but I shall have to get it done by tonight otherwise it will be just a blanket wrapped around me to sleep. BG at least is behaving itself and has been in the 5's all day so far - that's after Libre woke me twice in the night to tell me BG was too low. I've put some weight back on so I'm being as controlled as possible as far as carbs are concerned - I think perhaps I relaxed my guard too much after joining this "Counterweight" class. Gone a bit too far the other way now.

"BG swings like a pendulum do..."
