Thank you @ianpspurs. I think fbg will be truly awful tomorrow. I didn't have even a 5 minute break between 8.45am and 6pm so was really tired in the evening so had way to many peanuts and Montazumas 100% chocolate buttons and peanut butter after my evening meal. When I am really tired I do seem to lose control over my eating.Morning Glampers, artists, sci-fi enthusiasts and assorted other personages hereon virtually assembled. @jjraak hug for the cancelled op but congratulations on leaping/climbing back on the wagon. @Annb what a blessing Neil is but he will be a busy man. @gennepher thank you for sharing the last two creatives. The lady looks well drawn to me. @dunelm enjoy the sauna and shower and thank you for sharing the trees. @Krystyna23040 those fbgs are looking good. I didn't take enough fluid on board yesterday so didn't sleep as well as some nights. More fluid today and no doubt some dozing while the sport is on TV which I guess counts as a +ve and in my mind is the spirit of shavat. Enjoy Saturday - Jasprit is having a ball.
Thanks @Krystyna23040It looks s good news that you have permanently switched off horrendous alarm noises @gennepher. Very annoying about the other stuff switching back on.
If only the processor had acted in the same way for the alarms @gennepher.Thanks @Krystyna23040
The noise alarm noises were the absolute worst, because I was right next to them (obviously), but with the cochlear sound processor any strident, persistent, insistent plethora of noises and alarms usually do amplify and distort several times over, and my scan function which is is the hearing program on the processor (it scans the surroundings I am in for noise/sound and tries to adjust it automatically, but it doesn't do it appropriately, for example in a coffee shop, the irritating, what I perceive as a high pitched screeching noise from the coffee machine causes the processor to dampen all surrounding noise at the moment to virtually zero incoming sound for a good few minutes even after that coffee machine sound ends, but I am sitting a little distance from the coffee machine).
But when I am right on top of the alarm noises, such as the horrendous loud noise alarms in the car, each with a different signifying sound, it is as if my hearing processor cannot deal with it, and the incoming alarm sound is amplified and distorted to an intolerable degree.
I had every setting on the cochlear sound processor turned to as low as it would go when I got in the car, but it was nowhere near enough.
I found someone, a hearing person, online who rented a car like mine but took it back and refused to drive it a moment longer because she said all these safety alerts were a dangerous distraction from driving.
I did go on a chat line to the car firm, but they insisted these were safety features for the safety of the driver. So no help there.
Yes @Krystyna23040 precisely...If only the processor had acted in the same way for the alarms @gennepher.
I thought you would have a good number this morning despite your concerns @Krystyna230405.5 this morning. I am really surprised with that number. Off to Oxburgh Hall to see the snowdrops shortly.
Thanks for sharing that creative and teasing us with the hint of interesting information As for the tree, non woke granddad joke incoming. Two guys from the Emerald Isle were looking for work and saw a sign saying tree fellers wanted urgently. One quipped, shame there's only two of us. #1 son has Irish in laws who are fine with those type of jokes according to him. The Scillian side are best treated very differentlyFbg 6.7

Looks like a very windy placeGood morning everyone from posh camping in the woods. The gom jabbar gave up the ghost yesterday and accidentally on purposes I didn’t pack a replacement. I’m choosing my food in stealth mode for the weekend. It’s Mrs Miggins’ birthday and it would be a fool who tried to cry off even the most waffer thin slice of a spousal celebratory block of fancily disguised clag. There is a sauna at the back of this lodge so it will be getting a visit in about half an hour. Luckily there is an outdoor shower right next to it to frighten you into the day. Art bit - we are in among the trees and these are what some might look like to the unwary. Hope your day trundles along with a hop and a skip even if it’s just in your mind. Time for some koffy - I brought my travel cafetière.

Thank you for sharing artistic things arboreal and news of matters both corporeal and gastronomic (eal). Many happy returns for yesterday to Mrs Miggins and sister. Enjoy the call of the wild but remember we are none of us as young as we were.Good morning everyone from the little house in the forest. Forest walks yesterday and just over 5 miles. Paid for it later. Mrs Miggins and her twin celebrated their “no, you can’t have your bus pass just yet” birthday. Daughter in law had made a very low carb cake - strawberries, cream and hardly anything to keep it all standing up. Had the terrible job of testing out the sauna and outside shower this morning. Art bit, yes, there are trees here. Hope your day is kind to you. My travel cafetière is proving quite popular.
