What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Gennepher, a winner for the way you dealt with the situation and for the one-line drawing but a big hug for all the extra effort and stress this morning.

4.6 at 04.30 today but into the 6's soon after.

Builders have almost finished the first part of the heating system and the heat exchanger is now working but so far the radiators are still cold - there's a huge water tank in the loft to heat up before we feel any benefit.

Second phase - the solar panels is due to start next week.

The electrician commented that this was a very difficult installation, Surprise, surprise. It was Neil who designed and installed the existing system, which this electrician had to work around. Neil is good, but he does like to overcomplicate thngs.

Tough , frustrating morning for you @gennepher. In some ways I'm glad such a high percentage of the people in the UK with what appears to be sociopathy live in your area but also sorry for you. Hopefully you can have some rest, finish the prep and look forward to a wonderful time with your daughter. Thank you for sharing another one line drawing. To me one can see a definite progression in them which is obvious when I think who is responsible.

Is it nearly Christmas again? You could use this image on your Christmas cards @dunelm. Love it.

Thank you Ian...

@gennepher you live in a place where the locals are known to be a bit odd. Ha!
No wonder you struggle with neighbours.
6.7 this gardening Friday.
Sun came out for about an hour just before noon, so having a pitch inspection, I decided to mow.
And now I'm knackered.
But at last the mower has been used. That is what it is for. It's not very useful when it's not doing its job.
Reminds me of a certain government.
We are now not known by the U.K. But broken Britain. Or the isles of waste. Or the kingdom of corruption.
There is a YouTube video, that had me in stitches this morning.
It was about a plea to stop having a go at a certain prince.
And the name of this group, who are doing this is called........
Prince A Exoneration Development Office.
Brilliant.

As usual wonderful artwork.

I did hear from a friend, from a friend of a friend.
The heightened security is because of the middle east.
The threat level is understandable.

Or it could be that Rishi, has been scammed.
Apparently, an indian phone call centre has targeted his account.
He was quoted, as saying, it was only a couple of million, pocket change.I
He would be reimbursed by the plebs in the party.
If Boris can do it, why can't he?

Cloudy with a chance of chicken Tandoori.
Or fishy rishi Friday.
Kitchen and garden duties, Mrs L has had a relaxing day.
Or I wouldn't have attacked and assaulted my front garden.
Daffs are nearly done, but bluebells, even the pink and near white are in full spurt.
It's blue bell Forrest out there, people!

Have a great rest of day. Have a great weekend and hold the rain stays away.
My best wishes to you lot as always.

Thank you @ianpspurs, I shall try my best for something flat

Hug for disabled parking blockade by the entitled and ignorant ‘not that disabled but give me a badge’ brigade and also for the strange trespass. Lovely squiggle - looks like one of my granddaughters going to school with and apple in her hand.

Everyone knows someone that abuses the blue badge scheme.
it is going to be an Olympic event in 2032.
But only with electric vehicles.

They are known to be odd...I agree...

I have been registered disabled for nearly 30 years and refuse to apply for one because I can still walk reasonably well. There needs to be more rigour about who get’s these things.

Living in Ca over 40 years, whenever I go back, it’s always fascinating to see people’s lifestyles. Freshly made food with no preservatives I like. I am not a red meat eater. I used to eat but stopped.
Love freshly made Tandoori chicken, freshly made non starchy veggies, and almost no bread (carbs).

If you are registered disabled fine.
But most use them for relatives of their vehicles.
It is difficult to differentiate between all the options that it can be used for.
Means tested just wouldn't work.
My wife has the option but we have not taken it up.
As we are both unable to drive for medical reasons.
