What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

A shame that the hospital appointment didn't go as planned @gennepher

Nice drawing @gennepher, the sort of bench to watch the world go by, stargazing or people watching.
It's unusual to not get some satisfaction from an appointment.
But I have had my share of doctors, who don't know what is happening to me.
How can a T2 (hba1c normal) have hypos and not on meds?
Just one instance.
I do like the artwork @dunelm.
Is it a variation on a theme?

Bank and money situation sorted.
Was really worried and anxious.
Got to put all this in my homework for counsellor.
I'm sure I'm not in school?
But life is a lesson?

Mrs L requires a proper brew with new kettle.
Better than the last one.

I'm knackered after this morning.

You lot, behave!
If not, keep it in your pants!
Share your love properly.

Thank you @Lamont D for the drawing compliment.

Today I have given up.
I have no fight, nothing left in me.
You could topple me over tonight by just poking your little finger into my shoulder.

I need a full night's sleep to recover, and in the morning when I wake up, Queen Boudicca will rise again... I am incapable of a battle plan tonight...

Hugs for your anxiety on your bank and money situation.

Take care...

if it wasn't for Mrs L and the footie, I would be in my pit.
look after yourself....
Tomorrow will be a better day.

Good news that the bank and money situation has been sorted. Not surprising that you were worried and anxious.

Smashing sketch - hug for the appointment not going well

This is from the stress of yesterday's hospital appointment. Not from food. I need to get that down...

Nighttime wildlife video.
Two badgers & a Fox
49secs

Creative...an old man at the garage bending down to choose a newspaper, but he has problems getting back upright again, and he is not the only one with that problem with newspapers that low. But it gives me a brief moment to study the person before I draw them...

A dull day so far today...

A cuppa tea needed...

You make your day into your best day...

Looks like how I feel when trying to get up of my knees

Yes, you have done far too much trying to sort and move stuff for the team of builders @Annb
We can do short overrides's on how/what our bodies are capable of, but we can't keep this on for as long as you have stoically been doing over these builders to clear your place for them.
I know I do the same for similar things. We shouldn't listen to the voice, or whatever that says we need to push on beyond ourselves...
Take care Ann xx

Good morning everyone on a chilly start here in the dark and dangerous north. Tired this morning, not the best of nights but as nights in the past go, just about within 1 standard deviation of my personalised mean sleep bell curve. Yesterdays journey of a lifetime came and went without incident and Mrs Miggins now has her shiny new replacement IProd. Packing day - well as much as 15 minutes work. Off to Bordeaux early hours tomorrow morning to see my parents and do a bit of batch cooking. Art bit - similar to yesterday, a bit more colour. Have a smashing day if you can, I think it’s Tuesday. Really ought to have some koffy.

It's disappointing because I haven't really done much - plenty of plans but little action. One Move More class (very gentle exercise) and one trip to town - minimal walking but a lot of sorting through paperwork. It''s my arms, shoulders, neck and back that have suffered, not so much my legs this time. Hoping for some information from Thursday's blood test because it feels like some kind of deficiency that means my muscles don't work as they should. Even swallowing is painful because my throat has to use muscles to swallow. Poor me! (huh!) It'll sort itself out. No worries.

5.6 this morning. So it looks like I 'got away with it' and the tub of ice cream didn't upset blood sugars.

I would really love to have an occasional sweet treat if it doesn't cause long term damage and wondered if anyone else on this thread finds that it is ok to have something sweet occasionally.

It was good that I didn't have a craving for sugar after eating it and it actually felt easier to stick to my very low carb diet knowing that now and again I can have something absolutely wicked.
