I'm not really sure why the US scan was ordered. Or even who ordered it. The last GP I saw didn't take me at all seriously but did order blood tests to be done - that was months ago. I heard nothing more about that afterwards. My only contact with the surgery was with the nurses taking the blood or bandaging my legs. The appointment came out of the blue. Does it have to be a doctor who orders a scan, or can a nurse do it? Whatever, someone did, for some unknown (to me) reason. That your kidneys are in working order is a big plus @Annb. Were recurrent urinary tract infections the reason your ultrasound scan was performed?
UTIs are very common in women, especially diabetic women, as you will know. Unfortunately there are strains of bacteria knocking around that have developed resistance to many different types of antibiotics, so doctors are reluctant to prescribe courses of antibiotics for any longer than absolutely necessary.
Friday's FBG, 4.7 mmol on waking at 6.00 am.
Thank you @LivingLightlyHow fascinating! @gennepher. Your nighttime videos show aspects of wildlife behaviour that most of us are possibly unaware of and thank you for persevering with this kaleidoscope. It looks as though you had some fun with it! Thank you for sharing.

That's the one. @JohnEGreen thank you for sharing that amazing photograph.Am late today.
Had to pick up some stuff
Not done my pic yet.
All the seasons and weather's this morning, tired me out totally, fell asleep when I got back, only just woke up...still half asleep.
What I wanted to ask was this..
I passed Aldi on the way home...
So I went on to see if they had the extra virgin olive oil you lot mentioned earlier. My phone wouldn't bring up this site in Aldi, so when I found this at £5:49 I wasn't sure I had the right one, I thought you said it was £7: something.
Have I got the right one?

I hope the nap was good and tonight's sleep is even better. Thank you for sharing those kaleider kaleidoscopes which are both wonderful. I wasn't asked to chose but if asked I prefer the taller one. What does anyone else thinkFbg 6.8
