Enjoy that nap @Lamont DStill no test strips, but I feel really thin today, I have banned mirrors from the neck down.
Why is it?
When you do a lot of chores more needs doing?
Why is it?
Just when you think you have time to get your feet up before feeding time, that Mrs L will ask for an errand to be done?
Why is it?
You put the washing on, only to see cloud, and no forecast sunshine?
Why is it?
I'm asking stupid questions?
I'm with @dunelm 's father, I would rather have no fuss or faff around my demise.
Celebrate by all means, but nothing elaborate or religious, cos it's not me.
I would rather let the family have the money.
They deserve it more, for putting up with me!
Why me?
There was incidents and accidents.
Hints and allegations.
Mid post, and after settling Mrs L for her nap, there came a shout.
On a day where two washes have already been done, and on the line, Mrs L dropped her cuppa.
All over the bedding.
So twenty minutes later, another wash has just been put on.
But it's my fault.
The cup was too heavy, and you know that! She shouted at me.
I couldn't deny the wrongdoing.
I apologised.
Made the bed to Mrs L 's approval. And put the kettle on again. This time her favourite small cup.
Think I'm going to have a nap myself....... Sure!
Too much to do!
My best wishes to you lot as always.
That's good @Krystyna230405.3 this morning.
Fitbit is unhappy with me. One of my readings has been out of normal range the last few days - which makes me so happy.
Resting heart rate has gradually lowered and now is 9 beats per minute lower than it was.I
I am so happy. The ribcage breathing does lower your resting heart rate but I didn't think it would work so quickly.
Will catch up with posts later.
Sitting in the sun reminiscing - I am sure your dad would have loved the way you marked his passing @dunelmGood morning everyone on a pretty gloomy start here in French Froggy France. 5.5 this a.m. Dad was cremated yesterday. His wishes were that nobody attend. A very stoic atheist who would have been happy to have been just buried in his orchard given the choice. I expect that that is where mum will scatter his ashes. Instead, we sat in the sunshine outside a restaurant overlooking the sea and the beach where some of my sister’s ashes were scattered a couple of years ago. Now long gone. We ate food and reminisced about those parts of dad’s life that we shared. I had a glass of Leffe Blonde - a beer that he loved to have at lunch times. My brother went back to Bristol yesterday evening and my niece goes back to work in Bordeaux today. Another of my brothers is being driven down from Falkenburg in The Netherlands and should be here tomorrow lunch time - he can't drive himself any more. Mum's carer comes this morning to take her shopping. We made a list! Later we need to contact pension people and sort that bit out - state pension and dad's NHS pension. I am slowly working my way through dad's collection of wine - a big job, but the task has been assigned to me and I will do my best - may take a year or so but I will persevere. Art bit, ink splodges that I did at home last week. Hope your day persuades you to smile. I shall make koffy and watch the clouds escape the rising sun.
I am so pleased that the EVOO has made a difference @gennepher. I find it really works for me also. Good that you were able to stock up with it.That's good @Krystyna23040
That's reminded me for the breathing again...
Ran out of the Lidl EVOO for a few days now.
It makes a heck of a difference to my hands not hurting as much. I have 1 1/2 tsps twice a day. I started with one dose at night, but then I found morning and night made an even bigger difference.
Had to make the effort this morning to go to the next town to stock up, and stock up I did...had other stuff to stock up while in next town. Got back Midday.. I was shattered, been fast asleep since.
It is a beautiful day today, and been asleep during it! Temperature dropping now, so better close all doors and windows!
I wrote down Aldi, not Lidl, that was spellcheck altering it!!!I am so pleased that the EVOO has made a difference @gennepher. I find it really works for me also. Good that you were able to stock up with it.
Predictive text can be so annoying. Mine is in overdrive at the moment.I wrote down Aldi, not Lidl, that was spellcheck altering it!!!
Thank you for sharing an entertaining nighttime video @gennepher and Kaleider Kaleidosopes. It looks as though you had some fun with them!Fbg 6.7

The Badger Family & Fox
The badger family seem to regard my garden as their second home, and have done for a couple of years or so. This particular fox is pretty much always with them...

Creative is a photo of some velvety neck cushions, Put into Kaleiider Kaleidoscopes...and I end up with these 3.

I realise those Kaleider kaleidoscopes may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I so enjoy doing them...Thank you for sharing an entertaining nighttime video @gennepher and Kaleider Kaleidosopes. It looks as though you had some fun with them!
Here in London, there's been a murder in the garden. Looks like the work of a sparrowhawk. The females have become skilled at knocking off wood pigeons by cornering them in a confined area. Only the beak and a pile of feathers remains.
Wednesday 4.5 mmol/L on waking at 6.00 am.
Smashing colours, I thought at first that they were a punnet of Christmas orangesFbg 6.7

I always have a runny nose in the mornings and have done for a few years now. My brother is the same. I just assumed it was an old-age thing.Morning all from what will be an even sunnier L.A.after this semi mist burns off. My fbg may well have been the 4.8 Libre wants me to believe. Should we all now be worried our wearables will explode? Operation Cobra Warrior is in full swing here drawing lots of plane watchers and some complaints on local “social” presumably from Putin’s useful idiots. @dunelm thank you for sharing the art, enjoy the walk and shopping expedition. Absolutely the right time for your mum to be indulged somewhat. @gennepher thank you for sharing last evening's kaleidoscopes. Not that it matters but this was my favourite.

Amazing to me how there are such different outcomes from the same source image. @JohnEGreen I too seem to have a runny nose in the morning lately. Here's hoping somewhere along the way today offers you even a few moments of joy and wonder. My most intense ones always come as a surprise but your mileage may vary
When does old age officially start since the seasons now seem to have two different sets of timings - alternative facts? My runny nose is unusual so I've either caught a cold, have late hay fever, somehow have this new variant of COVID or something much more sinister. I'll go with a cold. Good news that Neil is feeling better after #Tofugate. I tried that and (Tiny) Tempeh without adverse reaction but they were both utterly bland however I marinaded then or whatever "sauce" I used. I hope leg day goes well and the Libre sensor comes today. Take care.I always have a runny nose in the mornings and have done for a few years now. My brother is the same. I just assumed it was an old-age thing.
BG at 04.00 was 6.5. Haven't checked since. I'm a bit fed up with finger-pricking but should get my new Libre sensor today, with any luck. Weight down slightly again, but only by 0.8 kg. Better than up, which is what it has been the last few weeks. Leg day today and Neil has to take a pile of cardboard to the recycling plant as well as doing my shopping. Luckily, he's feeling better today - recovered from having tofu, which upset him badly, so much so that he couldn't go to the shops on Monday. I'd bought the tofu to try and he decided to try it again, after having a bad reaction to it a while ago. He used to have lots of it, but suddenly developed an intolerance. That's why he wanted to try it again. I didn't like it anyway, so no more tofu for this house.
This Art bit is stunningly beautiful @dunelmGood morning everyone on an all things bright and beautiful start to the day here in French Froggy France. 5.5 this a.m. A postcard arrived yesterday. Sent by Mrs Miggins and I from Flam in Norway on about 28th August - must have been delivered all the way by hand. Alternative views would include tutting at the amazingly laid back French postal service, quelle surprise! We are off to hunt down a replacement clothes airer this morning and taking a route to the supermarket via the river path and through the park. The cafe at the supermarket do a good koffy and mum likes a croissant and to sit outside in the sunshine. Brother from The Netherlands and his wonderfully kind long time partner arrive sometime today. This brother is unable to drive, quite disabled and bi-polar to boot -what fun! Art bit - another ink splotch. Hope your day is a good one, no bin day today but I do need to take some rubbish bags down to the nearby déchetterie (think that’s what the underground bins at the end of the road are called).
