What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Thank you for sharing those pictures. I know how much pleasure you find from gardening. Sorry to hear of the hospital visits for Mrs L but hopefully the specialist will offer some help and advice. Take care.

Did in the end go to the market with a friend who had visited especially to attend. She has leukaemia and normally it is her having dizzy spells, but yesterday was me needing to lean on her briefly.
The HH(Helpful handyman) came again finished taking off the roof and replaced the membrane and battens. MrSlim found it too hot up there, it's single story, with scaffold, he was only up there to explain the job. HH had not done that before, but made a decent first attempt. MrSlim is not complaining. So grateful for the Help. However it's only temporary. Neither of us knows for how long as it depends on his other commitments, which increase during the summer.
Kiki has had a run in with one of six cats that live next door, this time however she was the victor and chased the other cat from her garden. It was one of the two young cats, so perhaps a soft target, except that same cat has previously terrified Kiki and extracted multiple tufts of fur. So well done Kiki.
Am feeling increasingly under pressure the list of things that need doing now or in the next few days is getting overwhelming. Taking two days off sick has made that worse.

Good morning everyone on what looks like a day when there will be an increase of particle movement in objects thanks mainly to the appearance of the sun.
5.7 this a.m.
Been busy, been sad, been away, marked the completion of another circumnavigation of the sun, mainly happy - life events.
Anyhow.
Yesterday we were invited to spend the summer, or at least some of it with our friends in LA. Had to decline. We have things in place already but we can’t contemplate going to that country while Trumpty Dumpty and his rotten gang are causing such havoc. Bad enough here with Useless Eustace and the Ministry of Fools.
Art bit - picked up the tools again after a break. So, experimenting with mixed media - looks like under the sea to me.
Hope you are all as well as you can be. I shall finish my koffy and get out into this sunshine and warm my bones.

Thanks for sharing the art. Now you've posted that derogatory comment on here the USA may be off limits for a while.

Very much undersea world. Happy "unbirthday" to you as well as to SlimLizzy. Hope the sad part of the last while hasn't been too great. Good to see you back.

I missed the reference to your birthday @dunelm - brain addled by too much celebrating Ange's usual 2nd year trophy. Many happy returns. I'm hoping for this from my boys.

6.9 this morning.
We have had a lovely visit to Felbrigg Hall. We decided to go there as there were Parkruns at Sheringham Park and Blickling Hall.

After walking around the estate we had coffee in the courtyard of the cafe.

Mr K thought it was better to go today, rather than Sunday as I am still recovering from my somersault down the stairs and I can rest tomorrow before back to classes on Monday.

As always, Mr K is spot on.
