What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

@DJC3 great news and hope you all sleep well tonight. Can I suggest a snifter of gin (for you obs)!

Yes you certainly can, thank you!
It’s such a relief, and now he’s run off with my slipper so normal service is resumed.

@DJC3 great news about Dennis. I remember well the black poo. My 2 are a cream colour and there were black all round their mouths for days.

Yes!! Dennis’ white moustache and beard is now black - we’ve tried wiping it with those grooming wipes but it seems very stubborn. I’m glad you said it came off eventually.

@Muddy Cyclist thank you that reminds me of a much loved clifftop walk in North Cornwall. I miss the sea.

Is the walk along the cliffs between Fistral and Newquay? Near the Headland? That’s what it reminded me of. I was trying to find a photo I took a couple of weeks ago @Muddy Cyclist to post here so you could see the similarity.

@DJC3 the best news, relax now.

It is the best news! I’ve just sent eldest a text saying we are home and she has replied that she’s now at the vet with her cat - we must have missed eachother by minutes. ( cat has a horrid looking cut but she says he’s fine - he’s a tough little Prince of Darkness!)
Just about to follow @PenguinMum ‘s advice and have a little celebratory snifter.

You really do need eyes in the back of your head don’t you? Whenever he’s being quiet somewhere in another room I get suspicious, and it’s usually well founded. Good thing dogs are so forgiving, I just wish he’d learn from his experience but I’m sure it won’t have put him off scavenging. We will all sleep tight tonight.
Hope C&L are being good little souls.

It could be but I was thinking of the walk between Watergate Bay and Porth (though those inlets too treacherous for a boat and fisherman. We are booking a Headland cottage for the second week in June. Its Mr PM’s 60th. I will send you a PM tomorrow. Chin chin!

I think when they get out and start to burn off energy and widen their horizons they will probably be more up to socialise with H. Poor old H he probs doesnt know what to make of the two fur rockets lol. I hope his gentle soul is able to withstand their exuberance!

That is absolutely brilliant @Muddy Cyclist
I love it! And love the rock pool!

Its from my sketch book done last year, rock pools at Porth Ore (whistling sands). So much of our coastline is very similar.

Wonderful news! Thank you for posting it.

I am so pleased to hear that Dennis is OK. Thank goodness he has recovered. I am sure you will all sleep really well. Of course Dennis has absolutely no idea of the worry he has put everyone through.
