That is really good news about Dennis. (I liked the idea of a lust for fixing)
@DJC3 great news about Dennis. I remember well the black poo. My 2 are a cream colour and there were black all round their mouths for days.
@Muddy Cyclist thank you that reminds me of a much loved clifftop walk in North Cornwall. I miss the sea.
@DJC3 the best news, relax now.
Well thank goodness for that...what a little (adorable) monkey he is...honestly you have to have eyes in the back of your head...so all's well Dennis is home...bear a grudge he won't even remember it by the morning...I am so relieved for you your daughter your family & of course Dennis hooray!
It could be but I was thinking of the walk between Watergate Bay and Porth (though those inlets too treacherous for a boat and fisherman. We are booking a Headland cottage for the second week in June. Its Mr PM’s 60th. I will send you a PM tomorrow. Chin chin!Is the walk along the cliffs between Fistral and Newquay? Near the Headland? That’s what it reminded me of. I was trying to find a photo I took a couple of weeks ago @Muddy Cyclist to post here so you could see the similarity.
I think when they get out and start to burn off energy and widen their horizons they will probably be more up to socialise with H. Poor old H he probs doesnt know what to make of the two fur rockets lol. I hope his gentle soul is able to withstand their exuberance! We've done a couple of introductions but poor Harry gets so excited...the last one the kittens stayed their side of the baby gate & hissed but didn't back off...I'm hopeful they will become friends when these two are bigger & can go out...I'm looking forward to that & dreading it at the same time...I fear they will be avid hunters...more short introductions planned but with caution...Harry is a lovely boy but is also very enthusiastic...Churchill tolerated him well they even shared the same basket & cushion but these two are young & lively.
Should be able to see in the dark though so no worries.
That is absolutely brilliant @Muddy CyclistStarted bigger picture, as promised I did a quick doodle when waiting for paint to dry. So here it is I thought I would join @gennepher and go messy with Acrylic, used old credit card and big brush, canvas size somewhere between A4 and A5 took about 45 minutes to paint 20 minutes to clean up, messy stuff. Oh! Sorry it's a sea pic again but I'm in an Oceanic mood.

Its from my sketch book done last year, rock pools at Porth Ore (whistling sands). So much of our coastline is very similar. It could be but I was thinking of the walk between Watergate Bay and Porth
Dennis is finally home and full of beans! No obvious I’ll effects apart from black poo from the charcoal they gave him to eat. It’s been such a long day waiting and waiting.
Many thanks for your lovely encouraging messages. Don’t think I’ve yet mentioned @gennepher @PenguinMum @Debandez @Muddy Cyclist @dunelm @ianpspurs @HarryBeau
I think we’ll all sleep well tonight and that door catch is now top of the ‘to do’ list of things to fix. He’s curled up asleep on daughter’s lap at the moment, so he obviously isn’t bearing a grudge.

At least you are walking better than in the previous emoticon which was a bit like me in high heels! And ... I'm off to the grocery store!
I am so pleased to hear that Dennis is OK. Thank goodness he has recovered. I am sure you will all sleep really well. Of course Dennis has absolutely no idea of the worry he has put everyone through.Dennis is finally home and full of beans! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Melitta-10...ip+filter+machine&qid=1579117075&sr=8-37&th=1My Nespresso maker never made it hot enough either - gave it to daughter in the end. I use a cafetière or single cup filter papers now. I did have a bigger drip coffee filter machine which had a thermos flask underneath so it kept warm for hours. @shelley262 recommended it but I can’t remember what make it was now. Hopefully she’ll reply and tell you. (My thermos jug broke and I haven’t replaced it.)
