@dunelm That's a nice refined palate right there young man and relatives living in beautiful parts of France. I am enjoying bourbon more than scotch recently - do you indulge or is that heresy for you?Quite like St Emilion and wine from the Haute Medoc, both not far from where my parents live. Or from Languedoc-Roussillon, Alsace, Rhône or Provence. My sister lives in the Cognac Petite Champaigne Crus, so a nice cognac please, from a small producer.
Had some pretty good wine in Hungary and in the Balkan countries and strangely some Columbian wine in Panam City (don’t ask).
But scotch - if that was all that people ever brewed or fermented or distilled, then just give me scotch.
Cheers
I think its what the conoscenti call a variable variableI wonder what "loads" is?
Its a deal xKaren, I will be happy to swap the numbers with you. You are doing great.
Steak and salad are default options for me too.
It was a favourite even before diabetes ruled, but now I have a medical excuse to choose what is often the most expensive menu option I feel quite happy.
I just use olive oil as dressing. I wouldn’t take my own as I know it would leak in my bag. I’ve ruined many bags through bursting yoghurts and squished bananas.
@DJC3 I haven't ruined any bags but I have caused a few problems with cream for my coffee whilst we are out. Many places don't have double cream for coffee, except Marks, so I often buy a small pot for coffee. Small pots don't have lids and I don't want to throw away a pot with only about 30 mls used. Once or twice my OH/DW has spilled some in a shopping bag. One would imagine a much loved pet had met its end but life goes onI just use olive oil as dressing. 6.5 after a very restless night.
@flexi06 fingers crossed you’re on a downward trend.
@Cumberland yesterday’s fry up must have sorted you out.
@DJC3
Sorry to hear you had a restless night
Are you working today or can you snooze a little?
I quite like a fry up as a treat now and then
Never quite sure about bourbon. My youngest son loves it but me not so much.@dunelmI am enjoying bourbon more than scotch recently - do you indulge or is that heresy for you?
