Sorry,@Evelynross, for getting the wrong end of the stick. Yes, that's frustrating. My lchf journey has been stop-start. I've lurched in the right direction, but with 'unexplained' high blood sugars at times as in my previous posts, it's a pain.

Couldn't find my meter and test strips before bed, so dug out some spares and guessed 3 units.
Found my meter and test strips when I got up. Of course.
Clinic today, yay.
That may be Dawn Phenomenom. Usually puts me up 0.7 to 1.5 mmol/ml within 30 mins of waking. I've been experimenting with taking 1 unit of bolus to counteract it as soon as I wake up, seems to be working.
