7.8 this morning after an excellent 5.9 yesterday. pre-prandial. Diagnosed type 2 two weeks ago, have been low-carbing religiously since then and have lost 3 kilos. 7.8 was where I started from then, fasting. Why does this happen? Why are fasting readings higher than pre and post-prandial?

Morning all. 7.6 today. Can't seem to get the morning fasting one any lower than that but it's a big improvement on 17 two weeks ago I guess :)
