Not been a good day for us we lost our dog today she didn't seem to well this morning and had been out of sorts for a few days so took her to the vets thinking it was just an upset tummy or dogie version of flue but was liver cancer and had to be put down have been crying all day we had her since she was a puppy.

@DJC3 Glad the weekend was useful. You have done so well so I am sure you will be back on track PDQ. Do you or other members find MySugr useful as I found it another in the "it's the hope that kills" genre?6.2 this morning. Back from Cornwall for a couple of weeks after lovely weekend in Brum.
My exercise bike is here so I will try to undo the damage caused by my sedentary lifestyle over the last month. MySugr number has started to creep up.
Very sorry to hear your news pets are so special and close to us take care what a blowNot been a good day for us we lost our dog today she didn't seem to well this morning and had been out of sorts for a few days so took her to the vets thinking it was just an upset tummy or dogie version of flue but was liver cancer and had to be put down have been crying all day we had her since she was a puppy.

@ianpspurs i find mysugr very helpful too. Last time my prediction from it was 1.5 higher than my actual hbaca1 so resulted in a pleasant suprise. I find it helps you to see the odd higher reading in context re it’s impact. But can see that if for you it gave a lower reading consistently to your hbaca1 that would be difficult to deal with and know that happens to some tooYes it was a great weekend - you should come along next time, even though I know you don’t like leaving your patch.
I quite like MySugr - gives me an idea of trends although HbA1c has been about 2 less than the lab test. I dont really enjoy data crunching I like very simple formulae and try not to sweat the small stuff, but I think if I didn’t use this app I would gradually get more and more lax til I was back to square 1.
Maybe I missed something on MySugr but I couldn't see full context e.g. resting pulse, hr during exercise etc that other tools/software give me. They may give me the data but I appear to be too dense to use it@ianpspurs i find mysugr very helpful too. I just use it as a simple free app to record my bgs and give me a hbaca1 prediction.Maybe I missed something on MySugr but I couldn't see full context e.g. resting pulse, hr during exercise etc that other tools/software give me. They may give me the data but I appear to be too dense to use it
