Morning all. Insomnia strikes again. 3.15am seems to be default wake up time, even at the weekend. Dozed for a while but gave in at 4.15am. On the positive side bathroom has now been cleaned! FBG was 4.8.
I know this happens every year but its still somehow a shock to the system ..I could have sworn I posted this earlier but 4.9 this morning @ 04.15 AM.
@OrsonKartt bit warmer here with a temperature of 5 degrees C.
You could always leave the fridge door open and warm the place up a bit.I know this happens every year but its still somehow a shock to the system ..
Sod that Goonergal...I occasionally have a spate of very early waking...the only positive part of which is my BG always seems to be lower...since it's the weekend hope you can get some shut eye later.Morning all. Nice to hear from you again. La belle dame has Merci so all must be well.I watched the sun rise this morning and the forecast for the day looks positive so I hope to do a spot of gardening. As the tomatoes have almost finished and the last of the green ones are unlikely to ripen now, this afternoon I might be firing up the cauldron and making chutney. La belle dame smiled 4.6
Thanks @ianpspurs Hope the bears are staying in the woods and you don't have to chase them from your garden. La belle dame still plays games and every morning is a surprise. Just like Christmas!Nice to hear from you again. La belle dame has Merci so all must be well.
We have tigers in the fens - although conversations with other poultry keepers reveal badgers looking for a feast. Christmas will become more of a year long planning exercise now the number of grandchildren has doubled and looks set to expand. Not so much a surprise as a military exercise. Thanks @ianpspurs Hope the bears are staying in the woods and you don't have to chase them from your garden. Wow. Forget about fbg and grounds, saving life and limb far more vital. Hope mobility issues quickly improve. Very eventful day.Good morning All. 8.2 this morning. Had a bad day yesterday, kitchen went on fire called services and two engines from neighbouring towns arrived. My friend who was here and I managed to put it out soaking 8 large bath towels but it was the granite worktops that stopped it spreading. It was out by the time the boys arrrived but we were in total shock for the rest of the day. The second engine smashed our gate and a large chunk of magnolia tree and made the grass look even worse but they were responding to what could have been a rapidly developing tragedy. Having raced up the stairs for bath towels set my arthritis off and I cant walk today. But you know what I got off lightly.
Annoyed about the BG number though.
Take care everyone, throw out those old camper gas you use in a power cut and buy a fire blanket or tank. Stupid.
@DJC3 Just relax and leave the fbg readings for a while. There will be a reason for the changes but being in the thick of it all is not a good time to analyse properly. See how rational we can all be when it is not us?Morning all
6.7 today. Thinking I might stop testing fbgs for a bit. I can’t seem to get them back to the comfortable 5s I was having in June and July and it’s just bringing my mood down for the day when I see these inching towards 7 with no explicable reason.
@shelley262 have you met the medicane? Hope it passes you by.
