Hope all goes well tomorrow x you will be fine changing your sensor enjoy your book

7.9 for me this morning and @Bubbsie , I’ve followed your advice and had a few carbs before running, a banana on Saturday before a 5k run and raspberries before a 5 mile run tonight. I’m not sure my numbers were lower than without the carbs but the running seemed easier and the BG levels weren’t higher than running on egg and bacon.

Eclectic collection of data lately - confusing I muchly. 5.8 fbg and random 1kg extra weight not what I expected. Waking well before 5 was standard for lowish carbs and a 4.4 after evening meal. I really crave a period where what happens is what I expect to see. On the plus side, I am informed we will see the hottest October day since 1978 tomorrow - which was the year I started teaching.

I went to a lecture on last week by one of worlds leading experts on nutrition , she was talking about different levels in different people and that the numbers that doctors generally talk about are those minimally required . Some people require much more of certain types. I would get the numbers the doctor gave you and try to speak to someone who actually specialises in this field. It probably won't be easy because its all still being found out and we like to think of it all as being sorted. Best thoughts in all circumstances
