What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hi @Chronicle_Cat I use to have a glass of salt water when I got the cramps from fasting. I also have hot Epsom Salt baths.

Hope all goes well tomorrow x you will be fine changing your sensor enjoy your book
Thank you Karen I did enjoy my book although I’m not finished reading it yet I know I will be ok putting the sensor in it’s just the thought of putting it in myself and messing it up

Good morning all. 5.8 today. Mild, breezy but dry. Long walk for me once it lightens up. I have been cutting back on the walks in the hope the the resistance training is better for BG. While the weather is fine, I shall make use of the opportunity. Must dig out my winter gear for the months ahead.
Hope everyones is well or on the mend. Hope your BG tows the party line. Have a great Tuesday.

Morning All from misty Kent. A soul destroying 7.5 at 0800.
Have a good day everyone, stay well, stay safe.
Don't let a number "destroy" your soul @PenguinMum. Kitchen fires, arthritic knees and the stress of seeing a dear friend going through chemo are good enough reasons for higher levels. Granted, the readings may make a Bishop swear at times but soul destroying is having a loved one proudly say I have brought you a cup cake

6.1 this morning.
I was in a bizarre multiverse last night. Took my blood at bedtime, hadn't eaten for nearly five hours and had a reading of 12.3. Scared the bejabuss out of me, and I have no reason for it, at least I'm back in range this morning. Enjoy the day

Worth retesting straight away if you get one like that - could be a dodgy strip or something on your finger. Or you could just sleep on it and test again in the morning, which you did and it worked out fine. Not sure I would sleep well without knowing. Glad you are back to normal.

What was her name? Sounds interesting.

I had one like that but it was followed when I rapidly repeatedly retested by error messages and ended up with meter being replaced. I remember the shock though!
