4.2 today
a tiny bit warmer this morning thankfully, I find cold conditions much more of a trial now I've lost most of my internal fat jacketlots of clothing layers required shortly I think . Still I'm definitely much healthier bg and lipid profile wise than I was
Mum is doing Sunday mid afternoon dinner today because she has visitors. Roast beef I believe, so she's doing me lots of cauli and broccoli to go with itI'm providing an apfelstrudel for everyone else to have with ice cream as pudding.
My pudding will be LC vanilla cake with a bit of Erythritol sweetened apple and the last little bit of my own homemade ice creamfollowed by a walk with the little dog.
Hope your weekend is being kind to you
Talking of Drambuie, I do love me a Rusty Nail - not recommended by the pint though

Glad your mom is doing a bit better and your fbg is looking fine and dandy.5.3 this morning.
It started raining last night which turned into a bit of snow when I came home from seeing my mom. (She is doing a bit better and getting more pain relief although she does have a new break in her back. ) She is less confused than she has been.
We still have a bit of snow today on the lawns. Surprisingly no major traffic accidents - a daily occurance here and with the change in weather, highly likely. (The rest of Canada laughs at Toronto's inability to cope with snow. We still get teased about years ago when our then mayor called in the army for a heavy snowfall). Anyway, it's very early for snow here, we don't usually get any before Hallowe'en. I don't know if our neighbours on the other side of the lake got more (with the prevailing winds across Lake Ontario, most of the snow usually goes to upstate New York USA instead of us.) Our clocks don't go back yet, Sun Nov 4th is our day.
Our clocks down here go back next weekend too. I've been surprised reading posts here about snow in October, not so much in Canada as in the UK.
I didn't realize places like Birmingham got snow so early! I'm in the SE US, we've only ever had snow before Christmas 3 times in my life so far, and that was right before Christmas.
Goodnight KarenGoodnight everyone sweet dreams

Never seen a figure like that, even on a carb binge.
This was after a day with under 5g of carbs all day.
Blood tests tomorrow... oh the joys.
