Lots of folk on here mention red wine ...so does it lower blood sugar ?4.4 this morning partly due to not having much to eat yesterday - scrambled eggs for breakfast and cheese and nuts at a birthday celebration on the evening. Think the good numbers might also be due to the glass of red wine I had for the birthday toast.
When I have had a glass of dry wine (or spirit for that matter) numbers do seem to be reduced at least for a day or so. The downside is, the wine goes to my head almost immediately, but then I'm not a regular drinker.Lots of folk on here mention red wine ...so does it lower blood sugar ?
