@surdoux , Try not to worry, it is early days for you. The fasting level is the most tricky to control. I know from personal experience. How are the rest of your BG readings?

On that day, readings were:

Fasting - 7.8
+ 2 hours - 7.7
Pre-lunch - 6.3
+ 2 hours - 7.2
Pre-dinner - 6.8
+ 2 hours - 6.6

I never have snacks, and drink a fair amount of water, only have 2 teas and 2 coffees a day (with milk)

It seems I'm all at sixes and sevens.
