What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Mine is 6.4
Why can't my FBG go below 5?
Can anyone advise me?

I can't get my fasting BS in good range if I eat after 8 pm (especially high carbs or high fat foods). Also if I haven't exercised for a couple of days my fasting BS starts creeping up. Might be worth looking at your meal timings and/ or exercise regime.

My fbgs seem to have levelled out at around 6.3-6.4, but I'm ok with that. It is in the non-diabetic range, anything less than 7 is good. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
I might be able to go lower by cutting down more on carbs. I still eat smaller portions of bread, rice, pasta and potatoes, and the occasional piece of cake or biscuit. But I try to maintain a bit of normality even if I am diabetic.

5.2 this morning. Surprising after 3 large pieces of chocolate cake(of the non low carb variety) last night :-0
