What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Think mine may have been a bit too much protein; had lamb chops, lambs kidney with a mushroom and wine sauce and a side of broccoli last night. Looking at what I have written, maybe it was just too much.. of everything but it was delicious!
6.2 this morning.

Have a good day folks.

Hello all,

Posting delayed a bit due to weekly grocery shopping. Fasting levels were 4.8.

@PenguinMum -- Hugs for the nightmare. Fingers crossed that blood sugars will settle a bit as the day wears on.
@DJC3 -- Adaptive glucose sparing is also known as physiological insulin resistance (in contrast to pathological insulin resistance). Personally, I prefer the expression adaptive glucose sparing because it exactly describes what happens and why.

Enjoy the upcoming weekend all.

6.9 for me today possibly with having a wee lie in - ok a big lie in - day off work today and I do love my bed/sleep especially in the autumn/winter time when it is so cosy

7.6 on a sunny-cloudy cool morning. I don't think it's fair that KittenCats can have blood work done that is not fasting, but of course I am happy for the KittenCat that this is so. ^. .^
