6.0 this morning after almost a month of vacation had really pushed my fbs up. Will have to work very hard to get it back on track. I enjoyed croissants, occasional desserts and ate to my heart's content. I thought, after all, I was on vacation and cannot resist the temptation. I am not on vacation everyday.
It is true that you are what you eat. My fbs this morning has come down one notch to 5.9. No more vacation food to tempt my taste buds. No regrets though but have to be more careful next time. Don't want my blood glucose to skyrocket.
