What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

If you fancy something sweet I find a couple of pieces of fresh coconut work

Puzzled by these results but if the CodeFree meter is to be believed, then I am over the moon!
Libre 5.9
CodeFree 5.2 !!!
Retested with meter after going downstairs to the loo, feeding the cat, washing hands again and coming back upstairs - 5.3. Retested after 40 minutes of pootling round - 6.3
The only thing I did differently last night was to eat a small chunk (matchbox size) of mozzarella on my way to bed, instead of fasting from 6pm.

Today was a doozy …

FBG Fingerprick 7.6 Libre 6.4 … however this was after silly me gave myself a correction at 2:30am with my basal instead of bolus insulin … so gave another half the usual bolus correction and went back to sleep thankful I have a cgm. Thankfully the day has been kind to me with only abit of extra snacking required.

Agree. I usually eat nuts and treat of pork scratchings. I still make cakes & puddings for for OH but I am absolutely fine about not eating them and go for yogurt berries a date and the dark chocolate. Eating out here is a nightmare!

Good morning, 5.7 here for me. Not bad as I went wine tasting last night& had some bread & cheese & half a mince pie
. Sensor change this morning & this one seems OK so far. The last one was consistently reading a least a mmol high so I had to rely to totally on Shuggah which I can calibrate. The nice folks at Abbott have sent a replacement, but very odd. Has anyone else had this sort of thing with Libre2?

No bed for me as my son was poorly and I was at Royal Stoke Hospital all night.
Best news is, my son is fine.
Called in at Macdonald's on way home this morning driving my son back and all I can say is ouch.
Only just back home and tested @ 19.6 mmol.
Thank you sausage & egg muffin....
Lovely spike that!

Sorry to hear about your rough night and glad your son is doing ok.
Bear in mind stress and fatigue play a large part in high readings.

Oh and maybe ditch the muffin next time and just eat the egg and sausage.

Thx for advice and yes bread is a killer for spikes. Blood Glucose on the way down now and is currently 12.2 mmol and heading further downwards......

6.5 this morning. Less than ten carbs yesterday. Grrr
our Egypt and Jordan tour is officially cancelled (thank goodness). Need to find somewhere to go in February to get away from the cold winters here….December is Mexico. It’s getting harder and harder to find safe vacation spots that are sort of affordable…
