Apricot danish. Oh my. YummyThe traditional Danish pastries I made wentdown well at the mother and toddlers I help out at (Christmas party). I made apple ones and apricot ones. Unfortunately I didn't think and added nuts to the apricot ones so couldn't serve those in case of allergies however OH happily munching his way through surplus. FBG 5.8 this morning bearing in mind Danish pastries have lots of sugar involved and I felt I needed to do a couple of tasters to check they were ok to serve, very happy with that.

Evening @Ladynijo. I'm a metformin user. Bear in mind that metformin doesn't work on a meal-to-meal basis. It's therapeutic effects are cumulative. If you've taken it for several months, skipping a couple of doses is unlikely to affect your BG levels. The medication you've already swallowed will continue circulating for at least 4 days.FBG 5.2 this morning. Astonishing! Particularly since I had to drop the Metformin for the last couple of days, as I’ve had the most unpleasant travellers tummy and I was worried about the side effects making matters worse. On the plus side, zero appetite and very little food is clearly balancing out the expected rise in BG from body stressors.
