What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Oh dear!
Libre 8.6
Finger prick 8.9
Out of the hive and high flying :(

Off to help prepare piles of veg and set tables for our Community Christmas dinner tomorrow (free to people who would otherwise be on their own). Maybe that will help bring my numbers down.

Morning all, a nice 5.4 on this wet and windy Xmas eve. Exactly 1 year now being diagnosed with T1, to say the year has been challenging is a understatement, but I’ve all the tools in my arsenal to make this an enjoyable time and will do so. Have a great Xmas all.

Morning @Tony 1711. Absolutely. Any snack eaten late in the evening is likely to play Old Harry with your FBG readings the next morning.

I'd aim to have a good square evening meal as early as practicable, then nothing more to eat before bedtime.

I had the Opposite Day before yesterday, had very little something that (I probably shouldn’t have) that I was sure to give me a bad waking reading - and I was the lowest FBG I’ve had all week yesterday, ah well we are all different, and even different from ourselves sometimes lol.

8.6 on waking this morning though, had a rare lay in! (Not gone fully LC again yet though, building up to it)

After being up and about for a bit, shower, folding laundry etc and before food 5.6

FBG 5.7 this morning.

Forgot to adjust my avatar to my Christmas one this year still better late than never. Looks li,ke I'm not the only one who forgot @mojo37 and @JohnEGreen ;)

Best wishes to all posters particularly those who are having a bit of a hard time of it at the moment. Merry Christmas everyone and hugs to all. :D
