Anyone able to answer the original poster’s (@fantastic9888) query of which one is the true reading? Ignore the Libre - it is always a couple of points higher, no matter the time of day or ambient temperature.

Glucometer

Hi all. Where I live is cool in the morning. I refer to my bedroom. When I check sugars in bed in the morning, they could be around 8.00mmol. but when I place glucometer under the bedclothes, I can get a reading of 2.00mmol less. So my question is. Which reading is the real reading? Cheers...

fully fed now and feeling great! With all the doctor’s appointments behind me I can now focus on our trip to Sri Lanka! Just tried all my clothes on and packed them away in their respective cubes….the countdown is ON
May get some snow tonight, hope it just stays in the mountains.

@MissMuffett you will be back in the hive in no time. To be honest, you probably were anyway, given your reading was only 0.3 off, and there is a 10% error allowance in all glucometers.
@PenguinMum a week ago your reading was in the 8s if I remember correctly, so you are doing great.
