What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.8 for me also this morning. Won't be updating for a few days due to an unexpected holiday after being told to use up some of my leave so booked a late holiday. I am under instructions to just eat and drink whatever I want and ditch the constant food weighing, portion estimating and finger pricking. I have already secretly packed my meter and test strips but will no doubt reduce the testing and updating owing to family pressures.
See you in a week or so, keep up the good work and I look forward to your help in keeping me on the straight and narrow when I return. Good luck to you all.

Mine was a bit higher than I would like at 7.2 this morning. Had bad sleep, worrying about appointment. has dropped now to a more acceptable 4.9

Hope you are monitoring that very high level, @kevin50 , and will seek medical advice if it continues.

I get the same, sometimes! Thought I would be in the 7s today due to a late night and not feeling great. Nearly keeled over when I took it this morning and was in the 5s. Do not know what I am doing but my bg seems to be dropping steadily over the the last week, not complaining though :hilarious:
