Breathing is my favorite hobby.

no gravy either? good ole fashioned roast dinners hard to turn down ;)

Oh I couldn’t resist the gravy but it didn’t seem to register on my morning after numbers

All right..this is crazy and now I'm wondering if the new test strips are to blame. 7.1 this morning….never.
went for my A1C test this morning. Three weeks of holidays….wonder how that will affect it. I should have results tomorrow.

5.9 weather looks promising for today, going to get the washing out and maybe JUST maybe first Mowing of the Lawn of the season :)

5.7 at 0530 this morning
been very low carb
pain from left knee seems to have disappeared in a few days let's hope for good
I looked at some of my posts from a few years ago and was noting that knee pain had gone after sticking to the low carb regime I dropped from 124 kilos to below 90 kilos. Slowly but surely I've put it on again, I've been hovering about 116 k for quite a while.
I think posting again will give a boost to get back on track..

Morning All. I am really scared. Yesterday was 9.8 today is 9.2. I was really restrained both days with seafood & salad lunch on Mothers Day and mixed salad yesterday though did have small amount of spaghetti with chilli meatballs last evening but done that before and got 7s. I am wondering if my incomplete pancreas has finally given up. Really scared, wish I could fast but will think about a restricted regime. Any suggestions welcome.

My first test of the day today was 5.3 it has been as low as 3.7 and as high as 14.0 over a period. Both i can explain so i am not surprised by the variation.

Average is around 5.5-6.3 - Which i am guessing is about normal first thing in the morning.

I do have a coup[e of side issues. one a rash on my skin and a second is cravings especially cravings for sugar. I am injecting 85 units twice a day. I look at the results in the morning ands think i am OK but i know i am not controlling my diet well enough. I took early retirement from work two years ago and have a very sedentary lifestyle now spending a vast majority of my time sitting in the study. I know i need to be more active but find it painful. My feet ache like made after a walk of about a mile round the block. I also have arthritic conditions which do not help and i am starting to have nerve problems affecting my left side with pins and needles in my left arm.

your profile says treatment type diet only.

What was your activities like over the last few days compared to 'normal' ? less moving about than normal could give higher readings.

There is likely a fair bit of meds which can try which can improve sugar levels for you, nothing to be scared of :)

Deep breath in and relax, if doesn't go back to your 'normal' consider giving your diabetes team a wee call there is tons of options available not worth stressing over <virtual hug>
