Jumpers back on for us today!
temp max 14 predicted here.
just as you mentioned jumpers... i've always felt pretty warm for years sweaty in bed etc, now sugars more or less controlled ... feeling it much colder recently strange that eh. Might even try on a pair of jeans rather than ultra light weight trousers sometime

Feeling cold is the norm for me. I think it is something to do with not eating carbohydrate fillers. Don't quote me on that though. ;)

Funny ye should bring this up
I’ve spent the last 2 years being very warm all the time especially at night with fan on most night
Lately I’ve been feeling the cold a bit more

Coincidental or not the previous 2 years were probably when my sugars were out of control
In the last 3 months since going low carb I’m definitely not as warm as I was overall

Maybe it’s not the menopause after all causing this - but my high blood sugars

Morning All so 8.0 yesterday and 8.5 today likely simply because I had a brioche bun to encase my burger from bbq. @grantg we have the same issue with adjoining jungle like gardens. It seems unfair when we work so hard to keep ours in order. @Bcgirl I never have success with bulbs (other than a few miniature tulips in a pot) so swerve now. Enjoy the BH everyone.

Suffering from gout attack since Tuesday
Got worse from Friday evening really painful Saturday Sunday and this morning can't put weight on feet ..
When I've had it before cyder vinegar and concentrated cherry juice normally does the trick in a few days.. trouble is they raise the blood sugar.
The list of high purine foods to avoid unfortunately a lot are on my low carb lists
I can't find much linking diabetes and gout or maybe mismanagement of diabetes which I've been guilty of..

Good Morning
4.55 mmol/L at 5am on monday morning. Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day. I was active all day. Again nice and sunny today. I have been eating 2-3 large golden kiwi with skin, which is good for my bs and metabolism. Have a nice day everyone.

8.3 yesterday and an 8.8 horror this morning at 0430!!! Had to get up early for flight back home. Thanks for warning about UK temperature, it's relatively freezing here now compared to fantastic Majorcan sunshine but that is half the reason we went there in the first instance. Definately jumper weather although I am looking forward to better nights sleep in the cooler climate and without the constant whir of air conditioning. Lots of work to do in order to get the bloods back on track but at least the diet will be more manageable.

I'm not noticing any effects from either high blood sugar, low carb or menopause, but then I have always been very tolerant of the cold. In my teens, when I ate carbs and had no blood sugar issues, I wore shorts all year round as I found central heating too warm - my mum would say "I feel cold just looking at you" :D

10.5 again today, it's remarkably consistent, unaffected by what/ when I eat before bed, or how much sleep I get.

Could well be just a coincidence for me

My mam says exact same thing to me if I’m wearing short sleeves and she’s freezing
