What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hi how did you get on yesterday. Hope it was not to stressful.
not got the results except eGFR which is ok. Creatinine is also ok. thats the only 2 blood results that have been updated. called the dr's surgery they can't find them. waiting on a call back from diabetic nurse they've said might be the lab rejected and may have to repeat as usually would be on the system by now, except for c-peptide which can take several days upto a week i posted above how got on. now stressing more to missing results. also missing some other past results have suddenly vanished from mydiabetesmyway website :O

"i got a response from email to them:
It seems that the result is not being displayed due to upper boundary limit in place on the graph page itself, your result of 63.2 does seem to be very high and outwith a standard range for Triglycerides.

Have you spoken to your GP about this result?

Thanks,

had a wee call from them as well they confirmed the old very high trig results were on their database so their best guess is as out of the standard ranges. that blood result was checked across 2 labs :O

I was annoyed yesterday as my sugar levels seemed higher than normal….about 6.5 all afternoon, weird spike after a carnivore supper and high before bed…high sixes. This is not my normal.
Then today…what the heck…5.1 on Dexcom, 5.3 blood test. Today was also my test day to eat something for breakfast, I usually just have a coffee. A small bowls ground beef with butter kept those number low all morning, even with a heavy weight leg day and a big incline walk (those normally raise my glucose). Honestly I just can’t figure this out, my pancreas has a mind of its own!
Enjoying a nice iced coffee right now then it’s closet cleaning time….i am nursing the coffee!

Seven point two this morning

I ate to satiety yesterday.
eggs in the morning and in the evening a couple of home made burgers and lamb chop on the bbq

On the scales I’m no longer losing weight but obviously have an ongoing raised glucose issue

On the train to see the endo today

Have a good day all

Libre 5.0 didn't sleep too good up several times through the night. Breakfast in a few then off to pool. Hopefully a wee nap after still tired

Tested early this morning as away with family and a surprising 5.5, but it was at 0600. Had a small toasted wholemeal slice of bread toasted olive oil margarine which tasted like engine oil (and yes I have actually tasted engine oil in the past.) Tested BS approx 30 mins later and got a whopping 11.5.

Sadly the toast breakfast was almost forced as " it's good for you as a diabetic" and I had no room to manoeuvre and refuse without being impolite but just goes to show how bad bread products are for me and I was advised some years ago to have a slice of toast before work as opposed to skipping breakfast altogether. Makes me wonder just what the medical advice is actually based upon if one small slice can cause such a rapid spike.
