What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Good morning from a frosty freezing Scotland.... 9.9 @ 6.45am today.
No matter what I do I get my highest bg first thing in my day! given up trying, unless anyone has any new ideas to share.
bg the rest of my day are in the 6's which I can live with but the morning one is no longer going to stress me out I have decided it is what it is.

6.6, I ignored MySugr's suggestion for 1 correction unit before bed so I'm running a tiny bit higher at waking up (I think I'm confident enough in my basal being on-point that it should be safe to do this from now on though!). Nothing dramatic but I do like waking up below 6. :)
