What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

As you are not on sulfonylureas it is very unlikely you would have a hypo at 4.1, so unless you are shaky you can exercise fasted.

To be honest I don't feel quite right when in the low fours. Not hypo symptoms but I can always tell, slight headache and a feeling of being anxious.

You are probably right that I probably will not go hypo if exercising as I am only on metformin but I probably will rebound and go high due to liver releasing glucose to keep my levels up. The worry is that I may overshoot. I prefer to have some small quantity of food to keep my liver from doing that.

Watermelon is lovely BUT it also has high sugar levels. Sends my BG sky high
I like them when they are not overly ripe/sweet and I don't have them often. I had some today because I was at 4,1 and was about to embark on a 5km walk. At the end of it I was at 5.5 and back down to 5. 0 an hour later (2hours after consumption of the watermelon). For me, on this occasion it was a success I would say.

@pavlosn take a look at the "Naturefile" thread on this forum to see British scenery and wildlife

10.4 this morning - coughing and spluttering for Scotland now
Thank you, I will.
Visiting the lake district and Scotland are very high on my bucket list.
Problem is picking the right time to do so!

Hi everyone
My blood glucose has been all over the place from 5s to 10s over weekend never been so high, but I had a shingles vaccination on Friday afternoon and after that I had high readings. So unsure if it could be from the vaccine but I'm back in my usual 6s today.
BG this morning 6.7
