What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Just back from my morning walk, 8km in 118 minutes today bringing the total distance covered so far this month during my exercise walks to 140 km. I have set myself a target for this month of 200 km.

Sugars on waking up at the ungodly hour of 4:00 AM were 5,2 mmol. By 7:00 just before setting off on my walk they were 6.1! And by the end of the walk 5,5 mmol/l.

Enjoy the weekend everone

good morning all

4.4 today

no DIY at mum's planned today, although we have sourced the new curtain pole and a new bedside chest (this DIY makeover stuff is apparently unstoppable once you start on a room), but we needed a rest after all the painting and then lugging two pretty heavy chests of drawers up the stairs the other day.

Mr gee is having a well deserved lie in this morning , he helps out at a local charity one day a week (Friday this week), so he's had a busy week.

Enjoy your weekend everyone

Good morning everyone
BG this morning 5.8

Went to my doctor yesterday and I do have gout but good thing the tablets worked well I don't need to take the rest,so fabulous news I'm going to change a few things in my diet like small portion sizes of protein and restrict protein to main meal only, more fluids small portion of carbs. Change potatoes for sweet potatoes don't know what else I can change, but doctor said don't worry too much about food and the gout diet and see how I do on the diet changes and test again in 3 months with a blood test.. So here goes I will give it a try and hopefully I will avoid more gout attacks. K
