What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all. No fbs testing for the last few days but HbA1c result today is 51 ( 6.8 in old money I think) and a comment of "Much improved" from my GP. :happy: A pleasant surprise as I've been very unwell for several months with no exercise. Feel like celebrating with a big sticky chocolate cake!:D ( Just kidding). Enjoy your Friday and the weekend one and all. :)

Are you two taking language lessons wish I could speak a foreign language so jealous! Ho and speaking about being down the road from each other count me in that has well I'm in Wigan! K

No way, no way I was in Wigan this morning seeing a company who do some contract work for me. My brother lives in Winstanley. My nephew and his girlfriend live in Winstanley also. Many moons ago I worked on the door at a nightclub in Wigan.

Well just shows you what a small world we live in, if I'd have know you could have called and had a coffee, proper friendly us Wigan folk, but we have no pies my hubby says? my brother used to live in Billinge now lives in Germany.
Didn't work out where Karen was from but I did suspect you lived near or around Liverpool with some of your posts,my eldest daughter had a friend who used to work on the door at a Wigan nightclub many moons ago. This world is getting smaller but so nice to find we are veritable neighbors. K

I ride a bike around Billinge quite a bit or at least I did until the little blond terrorist took over my entire life. I am now resigned to walking her miles and miles and miles in my spare time. She is however worth every step. Perhaps I might buy her a bike. Having said that she would probably eat the tyres

Think so. I've watched my averages steadily decline. My 30 day trend is now 9.9 which has made me happy too because it was much higher when I started. I did what I was suppose to do. Ate a proper high protein, low carb lunch, excersiced modestly, drank more water, (which is something I sometimes forget to do through the day). I also just took it easy and I think all of that helped.

Magandang umaga sa iyo lahat sa Philipino. Ang pangalan ko ay nilayon kahit Phillip o kahit Phillipa. I received a singing telegram this morning and an exotic lady sang to me that my blood sugars were 3.8mmols in the style of Shirley Bassey. Weird huh? My Aunty Alice bought me 7 pairs of underpants with days of the week on them, as today is Saturday I have just put my Saturday ones on. The problem is though I now cannot get my jeans on. Have a super duper weekend
