What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Today I have reached the biblical magical age of
Three score and ten (Psalms 90)
Every day after today that I wake up is a bonus!
Think I'll visit the pub later

4.1 this morning.....so a little better than yesterday...
Incidentally, has anyone else's gp practice restricting the amount of testing strips you can have? I need to test minimum 6 a day ,days like yesterday with hypo it's a lot more so tub of 50 goes no where.....but on putting in request for some more have been told by them that they are no longer going to give out as they did but ration them!!!! Not as if I can do without them. I know many of you on here buy your own, but isn't it penny pinching in the wrong place to do this......????

Type 2 on insulin....lantus solostar and apidra solostar.....

Hi ya, I was told not to test but I do for my own peace of mind so I know that there is no way I would get strips lol. On meyformin and gliclazide and other meds for other conditions lol. Hope you are ok. J
 
@axle 222 if you're on insulin your doctor should not restrict testing strips! Go bang on their door, shout and scream! Then have a hypo there and then - lol.

Thank you for that,they say they have been "adviced" by the g.m.c. to restrict.....my argument is I have to have them and its advisory ........Will put in for next 50 next week and see what happens,if they refuse ill take your advise!!!! Lol.....
Why do they make things difficult,when this condition is difficult enough.....
 
Ok ... As I had done so much in garden - I thought as it was like hard exercise - as we know it could mean Ya body and muscles need more NRG through night
So I poped a dextros just to make sure did not drop
Woke at 10.8
So infant I got my NRG to food sums right and I did not need to take it
I think if I had not I would of woke at 7.2
