8.0 this morning but on reading this thread I realised I might be testing at the wrong time. I usually test in work around 8.30am rather than on getting up from bed. I will try that from tomorrow.

It's very different for me - 9-10mmol/l is typical recently. 45 years as a Type-1, I often go low in the early hours of the morning - even if I don't become unconscious - so that's followed by the release of glucagon and my BG goes up before I rise in the morning.

I was 4.8 at 9am 5.4 after coffee with 1tsp of erythitol
but I had already got up and washed and made the coffee. Ill try it on rising tomorrow.
