What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

10.7

Ate a slice of cheese, an hour later 7.8

Need to work out how to manage this early eating every day then...

gl :) what foods are actually required by the body to produce insulin maybe needs a little more protein? no idea going to try research that :)

Morning all, 4.94 mmol/L at 7 am. Sunny day. I have severe arthritis. Sunny days are a blessing for me. Have a nice day everyone.
i'd of put a winner emoji for your glucose think the hugs more appropriate with the severe arthritis have you tried pain patches at all? dr should be able to give you a couple of lidocaine patches to try might be worthwhile if current meds are not making much of a dent into it.

5.7 on both methods. My Dexcom is now expired and won’t be using another for a few weeks..lmaybe.
As predicted, my blood glucose has returned to its happy normal. I did enjoy those five days of low numbers but my body always seems to adjust itself.
Need to go for a biopsy…bummer. Will speak with the cancer doc next week and hopefully get that arranged.
We have some very hot days coming! Up to 37 (or more) early next week. At least the nights are cool.

The expected jump out of the 5's today to 6.8 Could not understand why I had a few low readings when life choices not changed, same goes for jump back into 6's. Just one of the unexplainable factors we have to live with. Going back to CGM for a bit more experimentation with different foods, can already hear the moans and groans of nearest and dearest but frustrated with current situation.

11.6

Only "naughty" food was a single slice of toast, hours before bed so unlikely to be responsible. Feel like I'm coming down with a cold :(
