I'm sure you haven't given up! But I know exactly where you are coming from, I've lost count of the amount of times I've gone to bed with my BG level at around 5 or 6, then woken up and it's risen to 8 or 9, despite me having my 8 shots of levemir. Frustrating, and I can't really increase my levemir as I run a high risk of hypos during the day.
