Pasta, sorry to me it's vile, yeuch lol (and full of nasty carbs)
There is a plethora of pork crackling bags out there but they vary a lot in flavour, texture and nutrition (especially carbohydrates).
So the question is which in your opinion are best and should I buy ?

The real pork crackling company. Doesn't have that awful smell some have. Msg free, gluten free, additive free.
Per 100g fat 51.7g, carbs 0.5g, sugars 0.5g, protein 44.5g. Has rice flour and mentions sugar in it but you can see sugars low per 100g.
I like these but they are more expensive and 75g pack.
Just ate a pack and reading it now. Hope it helps.

Where can you buy them? Do supermarkets stock them? Thanks :)

I get those ones from Sainsbury's. Or you can buy the skin from morrisons, salt the skin. After 20 minutes wipe the moisture off with a kitchen towel. Salt/pepper as wanted. In oven at 200 for 30-40 minutes -and there is your own crackling.

I've bought these before, I'd give them an overall 7/10.

Tesco are now stocking The Real Pork Crackling Co, in multi pack. The multi pack holds 6 x 18gr bags (around 110 calories etc.,), priced at £1. Clearly, that allows for a little snack, where the bigger bags can be a bit much (for me, unless I'm really in the mood).

I too make my own crackling, using skins from Morrisons. I dry the skins for a couple of hours, without adding anything, then roast in a similar way to Mrs Vimes, then I add a spice mix to pep up the flavours. If you prefer to have a recipe to follow, I pretty much use this one:

Enjoy!

Recently I bought a 1kg Daylesford organic pork joint. When it was nearly roasted, husband took off the crackling and stuck it under the grill. He had the pork (and cold for lunch the next day) and I got all the yummy crunchy crackling

Sounds lovely, thanks. I could give that a try. :)
